Coppersan has this annoying ability to make me play Maplestory again by just watching one of his videos. Please Coppersan, let me escape this game for good.
As a phantom main i would like to steal non explorer skills to spice up training, only attacks not buffs also letting Tempest work like I/L Thunder sphere summon , give all impeccable memory skills extra damage on normal monsters and maybe letting impeccable memory have 5 passives depending on the class type if bossing for ex: if using a warrior skill you gain boss dmg, mage skill you ignore some def etc. but don't let it surpass mille + final cut let it be slightly lower only to have more versatility when bossing.
Here a summary of all thief classes : - Nightlord , spread throw is all you need - Dual Blade , good bossing kit and bursts - Shadower , good movement and mobbing - Night Walker , just have stickey keys but on Ignition no more - Phantom , good luck on that one - Xenon , the hardest class to fund …… - Cadena , the hardest thief to master but one of the best bossers of the game - Hoe Young , OP s , its like the Paladin/Mihile of the thieves but with DPS
I noticed you just set off Trickblade at 2:12 without being in Sonic Blow's attack animation. If you hit an enemy using Assassinate, follow it up with Sonic Blow, and use Trickblade (while almost at the end of SB's attack animation), TB gains an incredibly powerful burst with a different animation.
you don’t have to start with assassinate because sonic blow’s hits apply the trickblade debuff stacks as well. When your sonic blow is on cd tho, it is very useful to use trickblade after assassinate’s A2 for the i-frame and extra dmg
Night lords a solid class so fun with the crazy amount of exploding stars flying around the map constantly at 5th job. Although it does get one hit a lot but so fun. High risk high reward.
A cool thing about Phantoms, you can steal weapon/magic cancel from bosses. Or if it's on cooldown, you will probably have both a magic and melee skill stolen from explorers so you can just use the one that isn't blocked by boss, so you'll never be doing 1's for damage
Sick, pursuit still being lauded as the efficient way to animation cancel every weapon art skill for cadena. When you can just do that with thrash and grant the linked skill +15% fd.
Didn't realize Phantom actually got a small buff! 😲 Thought we were completely ignored with this update. Now that I think about it, Inferno Wolf started dying in one Lucky Draw after the update. No wonder!
Honestly if they just allowed the skills that phantom stole do the regular damage it'd be much much stronger but then you'd have to buff its own skills so you have a reason to use them outside of buffs

Just here to be "that guy". I think you said DB uses a katana, but to be clear, it's a katara aka katar. Funny enough none of MS' kataras actually look like kataras but several of the daggers are actually kataras.
Sad thing, all these years night lord still have bad mob skill watching videos and hearing about it through people. The overpowered characters in this game truthfully are mages and warriors. While bowman and thief classes still suck at mob and bosses. Last time I remembered. They were like glass cannon hit hard by die fast. Ctfu. Hopefully maple gives some type of defense like magic guard or Hyper body , shield for theif also forget to mention bowman have a protective shield now. While theif needs at least. 55% dodge chance against all bosses or monsters or shield. Tbh thief classes still squishy.
It’s clear Nexon struggles to effectively balance Phantom’s stolen skill mechanic. At this point, I think they’re better off either (1) removing the stolen skill mechanic entirely and making their native skills similar to the more useful stolen skills (ex: Tempest can be a turret skill similar to Arrow Platter) + much needed damage boost, or (2) at the very least, giving us access to all explorer skills and allow us to steal more of them... Also, Phantoms should also be able to switch between stolen skills with ease (Destiny Bishop can switch between “modes” for example) so their utility is higher and more reliable during bossing in particular. Also… there’s no reason skills can’t be stolen from job instructors. Maybe allow Phantom to have 20 stolen skills total and a “shuffling” ability to switch between the non-buff ones in battle? Having to re-steal skills post-Destiny patch shows a serious flaw with the design, right? There’s so many ideas on how to make Phantom better that it really shows how rough of shape it’s in… :(

Phantom main be crying in both joy and pain, so much work for so little results. I do love the class though!
Xenon: the most expensive character, but is my main, among all the Resistance classes (which get equal treatment from me).

Keep in mind playing a thief class gives you a 10% criminal rating making some npcs untrusting toward you.
So..... all I learned was that all thieves require funding 😆

Phantom's buff is like less than 5%, still at the bottom of the charts.
yeah and we lost a bunch of steal skills so it was honestly a debuff in all honesty. But we got a up jump XD

phantom the only explorer that got nerfed after destiny update
for a good reason too. But welp, this is not the first time a class getting heavy nerf. Eventually they will bounce back after1-2years =P
