> A beautiful, bright autumn day, with air like cider and a sky so blue you could drown in it. > Thanks for the Fall Tour Heather. All your hard work has paid off.
Yay, have really enjoyed these tours Heather! Sad to see the frost come and do its thing, but such is life and the turning of the seasons. Love the idea of you creating a sort of winter playlist to keep us updated but without it being weekly, that makes sense. Lots of plants getting their starts in the high tunnel, will be exciting to see how everything turns out. 💚 Can't wait to see the luffa video, the sponge sheets you have look very cool!
This was an exceptional growing season for you! Your hard work certainly paid off! I'm especially interested in your luffa video coming up. I've never been able to get my luffas mature enough to harvest & use. I'm open to new possibilities! Thank you for the great garden videos this year! God bless!
@SageandStoneHomestead starting my days with your Beautiful face and wonderful videos makes waking up worth it. Wish I could become a member and see all your videos. Maybe Santa will bring that to me. Have a great day. Pretty Lady ❤️
Well hubby can absolutely do that but gifted memberships is a thing too, have you seen that? Where other people can buy memberships for others on the channel? I want to figure that out.
I adore these tours! I was just mapping out our tiny property to see if we could put in a mini high tunnel (probably a quarter to a third as large as yours). LOL We just want "all the things" and it's nice to see that it doesn't have to be a HUGE garden space of 20+ sixteen to twenty foot beds to produce a LOT of food.
I have a friend who lives on a smaller house lot and she has a functioning greenhouse in the backyard with her rabbitry!! I think her greenhouse is a 20x20 square.
Awesome video Heather. I just love your garden tour. I find it very interesting what has grown and not. I am sorry for your pretty flowers. They did not make it from the frost 😞Thank you so much for sharing. Love and Blessings to you all. ❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏 Doris, Penrith 🇦🇺🦘
I've never seen Lima beans like those before. 😮 As an adult, I've stuck to a few beans that I like but I may have to try a few that I have a childhood aversion to, just a different variety.
I went to the garden this morning and was absolutely floored!! My cabbage seems to have survived three nights of hard freeze! I don't know how because I didn't even have time to cover it! Maybe because it's worse pretty big? I lost my broccoli but the goats and chickens enjoyed that.
Those Lima Beans are very pretty. I friend of mine here in the UK grew the Greek Gigantes next to a climbing bean similar to those in colour. They cross polinated, so she ended up with huge beans that looked just like yours. A really pretty accident.
I have really enjoyed the garden tours and have really been inspired to plant more in my own garden spaces!! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us!! Stay safe!!!
Nice fall day for a tour. They used to put pics of what seedlings look like, on the back of packets. I rarely see that anymore. It really helped with differentiating them from weeds.
My Lima beans have made it through the nights of frost! They are over a cattle panel and most of the growth is hanging down in the tunnel part…fingers crossed 🤞. I forgot to ask what kind of string etc. did you use to string up your peppers? As always thank you for all you do my friend 🤍🥰

I was curious if you grow your Zinnias for any reason besides that they are super beautiful and bees? Like do they do some awesome things for the soil, can or do you make essential oils? Are they edible?
@@SageandStoneHomestead Hey Girly they are 100 percent edible but kind of bitter so I'll put them in teas. They're good for treating things like upset tummy and malaria actually. I am sure Google can add to that list but they aren't just beautiful they're also edible.
@@SageandStoneHomestead of course ❤️ You are always teaching me new things in your videos I didn't know. So I am happy to share what I do know as well. What a lovely string of words you've put up there! This is my favorite season and you nailed the feeling!
I love your love for the flowers that will never flower ❤
It's the thought that counts 😍🌻

Yes I think every 2 weeks there will be a noticeable change to get excited about!
I love the hat and the braid from this and the last video. I'm so used to seeing you in a mom bun! Cute.
Thanks so much!! ♥♥
Fascinating about the loofahs. And enjoyed seeing your garden. Mine looks the same
Hugs! It shall have a lovely rest and be back next year!

Poor Margie!!
I know, part of me feels bad haha
I've never seen Lima beans like those before. 😮 As an adult, I've stuck to a few beans that I like but I may have to try a few that I have a childhood aversion to, just a different variety.
I have heard people call this variety "calico". My seed packet just says Lima Beans, these are from sow right seeds.
Always sad when my garden is done for the season. But I start planning for next year. I also seed saved which I am excited about.
That is very exciting!! I'm already planning for next year too!

I'm so happy!! Yay cabbage!!
I like the flattened loofah idea! By the way I have a video on my channel on how to install the GreenStalk watering system. It’s super easy. 👍
YAY Thank you!!! I'll be over there in a jiffy LOL

Bittersweet for sure! What are you doing with your birdhouse gourds?
Birdhouses from the bigger ones and possibly bottles from the smaller ones!
I can't wait to see them! How fun!@@SageandStoneHomestead

Cotton twine!! It's thin but strong. Not like a thread but thinner than butchers twine!

I grow them for beauty and to draw pollinators in! Plus they last a long time in a bouquet. ❤️
