Hi Dr V, YOU ARE SUCH AN AMAZING DOC...I have never understood skincare or how skin care products work until I found your channel. I learned so much from the importance of wearing sunscreen to exfoliating & how to use acids to improve my skin!! Turns out my skin isn't sensitive but irritated by using all the wrong products that damaged my skin barrier. THANK YOU DR V...🥰🥰🥰🥰

That study is so confusing. I didn't know that Brazilian was an ethnicity. I thought there were multiple ethnicities in Brazil.
I'm also confused as to how the study completely ignored black people and multi-ethnic people.
Should we be relying on a study that is confusing and incomplete?

I love my pore vacuum but I am very careful and gentle with it. It does help clear my pores. My dark marks happen mostly from my acne. I use all the liquid exfoliants but found it was not moving the dead skin away from my face enough. I had great luck with physical exfoliant. It’s like everything I was warned against has been working. So I decided to just use these in real moderation.

Thank you Dr. V for ALL you do for skin of color, you're truly a blessing🙏🏽. I recently started watching your videos and subscribed to your channel. I want to ask if you can do a video for us (black women) I'm fair skinned (caramel color) who suffer from SK (seborrhoeic keratosis) I've had them professionally removed before maybe twice but now they're everywhere as I'm getting older? I had really bad acne in my teens and 30's and was prescribed accutane which you know is a very strong medication. It cleared my skin beautifully at the time. Now almost 50, I have SK and scarring, irritation, little sagging (jaw line), wrinkles by the eyes. I also live in a cold climate (Wisconsin) what skin care routine do you recommend or where should I start to clear the aging and irritation look? I looked for an email for you but didn't see one in your tabs. Thank you for your response.

I liked Cerave but I was so oily it was getting in my eyes and very uncomfortable. I was getting white heads and now pimples with Cetaphil but it doesn't get in my eyes at all which I love. Gonna try Paula's Choice next. I just love trying different stuff and experimenting 😜 I grew up using Mary Kay cause my mom sells it and my face was under control and stunning. But I really wanted to do things my way and have my own journey

This "research" is extremely limited and quite frankly pretty prejudice. No mention of those of African heritage, despite including darker/black skin tones in the heading of the video. It's the flagrant disregard and unresponsiveness when asked in a previous comment that speaks the loudest.

My skin on my nose is dreadful as I have so many pores
I do the strips every now and again
But when I apply foundation etc to nose it looks so dry
But before I applied my foundation it is nice and soft and doesn’t look dry
I’ve tried many foundations and concealers
    Nothing works
