Trust me there are times when I just wash my face at night and apply nothing, my skin looks better the next day. When I apply and serum/cream and sleep at night I see bumps at times the next day. I really don't know if it's just me or someone else in the same boat with me :')
Happens with me too as if the skin is screaming at us to leave it alone and let it breathe! My skin looks best when all I do is face wash and at max some toner.

In your recent holiday video with your friend, your shared a real touching line saying when we were you ger on holidays, we wore bikini and parents didn’t really have the knowledge to protext our skin etc and so it is really important to educate our children into and during their tweens to make a good habit of skin protection. Hi, so in the morning I go on a run, do I sun cream before the run and then when I come back is it okay to use a cleanser, moisture and another layer of suncream (1 hour after applying my first layer of sun cream ) ?
Dr Rattan! A question that keeps popping into my head whenever you speak of fragrance avoidance on skin. How do you wear your perfumes as most of us spritz or dab them on to our wrists and behind the ears. If fragrance leads to sensitivity, it means wearing perfume like this would be the biggest culprit. Please elaborate on this. Maybe do a short video? Shall be grateful.

I’m still catching up with your videos and I wanted to ask about you retinol which you’ve spoken a lot about, so what percentage retinaldehyde should we use (skin of colour) is it the same as retinol 0.05 or can we increase the percentage on Retinaldehyde because it’s not as irritating. I find a low percentage of retinol irritated too. Thank you so much xx x🙏🏽

I have brown skin. When I wash my face and pat it dry it looks refreshing and bright, however once I apply moisturizer i look dull and oily and dark (as if I was rolling in pollution and then applied that pollution onto my face with oil )
I am not sure why it always happens ☹️

Omg!! This happens with me too. People say using wrong moisturizer as per skin type usually makes skin appear dull and oily. But I've tried and tested various moisturizers but the same problem persists!! 😭

I’m using the trio blemish range and I noticed when I use the am gel moisturizer and follow up with inzincable it starts to peel of I don’t know why I’m not using anything else with them although I haven’t experienced this if I use inzincable with any other products.
Is it normal ? I feel like I’m not getting the maximum spf after it peels

There bodies are developing quicker, my 12 year old has started acne and has real tanning from our holiday to Greece from 2 weeks ago. How can I control and reduce. Currently uses Cerave cleanser and lotion. With a weekly mask from The Ordinary Salicylic. Q2) I want to started collagen boost but I don’t want marine and defo no to bovine, what do you recommend? What about Indian brand Oziva Plant Based Collagen Builder. I know it has a reduced %, but is it worth taking?

Since m having oily acne prone skin, it's really hard to find to any products doesn't have stearic acid, isostearic acid, glyceral stearate, glyceral stearate SE, almond oil, Shea butter, coconut alkanes.. can u say how much percentage of it can really block one's pore... And what to avoid to stay away from acne !!

Hi Dr V, Dermatologists say you should not use Vitamin C and Retinal together, but your anti oxidant serum together. Please could you clarify this ?
Her serum doesn't have l-ascorbic acid. She uses tetrahexadecyl ascorbate, which is fat soluble and goes well with Retinaldehyde.
