Can we just put these two in a room together and just record that? These two are so much fun to watch, and I feel like an unscripted hour of them just hanging out together would be just as much entertainment as any movie they will ever make.

Why are people saying Michael and James are high? You could tell if they're high, first, and second not everyone is a serious person. This is literally how they are together; they have a serious bromance going and they have a good time. I mean, if you laughed with your best friend all the time, you wouldn't want people assuming that you're high, right?
Yeah, and after seeing this, it makes me appreciate their acting a bit more, considering how sarcastic they really are
I think its great to see them fooling around in this interview instead of being so serious all the time. Good on you guys and great acting.
These guys need to do a buddy comedy. As different as it is for both of them, you can see the chemistry between them. I think it would be a good laugh.
Its so amazing that they cast a young Erik and Charles with the same friendship as the older Erik.and Charles. I honestly do not think they could ever cast two better across for the roll.
These two have such amazing chemistry together, I couldn't imagine a better team to play young magneto and prof. X

I can't stop thinking about how Michael Fassbender would make a really interesting James Bond! I can totally picure him saying " My names Bond, James Bond."And by the way X-men was AMAZING!

Considering how redundant these interview questions can be, be glad that they are joking around and having fun. They could easily show how bored they are and gloss over each and every repeated question, but they don't. They make jokes, have fun and are pretty chill about it. I appreciate their patience and fun attitudes.
No I think not. The questions were to relate the previous movie to this one. Her questions are valid because due to the complexity of the relationship, in each movie it lies in a different place though the deep rooted "frizzle" is obvious.
Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy remind me of Miguel and Tulio from The Road to El Dorado in this interview lol

I love that this is a film about hope, but we find an Xavier that has given up, and no longer fights for his dream, it's brilliant. Were going to see young Xavier become the leader we know and love, it's going to be amazing.

Guys they are just having fun, I highly doubt they are stoned. lol They have been answering questions all day and they are friends. Granted they are joking around much more in this interview, but I'm guessing this was later in the day and they are just trying to get by.

I actually think they answered the questions pretty well, specially the second one. It was a great question and I thought both gave a pretty good answer.

Dear AMC Theatres,
Show the interview host only for the first few seconds of them asking the question, because people are more interested in seeing the interviewees.

Logomachi I know right? Even in some interviews they said multiple times that it's like some sort of love story to them. Then you read it the way you want to. Is it friendship, is it romance? In any case, love takes multiple forms. The directors, actors, writers, they all made choices at some point which impacted the perception of the audience. You can't see something that's not there at all, right?

It's always open to interpretation, but that interpretation is very much plausible because it is there. It's so rewarding knowing that they are okay with it.
In some franchises/fandoms you are ostracised for thinking about a relationship between two characters in romantic terms. I'm so glad in the Fox-Marvel universe the cast and people involved act and speak according to what messages they want to imprint in these movies.

Okay these are great actors but in EVERY interview for this movie they dont take this seriously , at all.

jigyoda I agree. I absolutely hate it when questions are asked, and the movie stars give these rehearsed answers and thats no fun. I love it when the interview is super funny and also the video has a potential to go viral (tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of views) then you know that the interview is awesome!
Yeah but it's VERY disrespectfull to the interviewer, trying to get a question and not getting serious answer, i have seen all the X men days of future past interviews and they NEVER give a proffesional awnser.
They have to do hundreds of these things, can't blame em for wanting to have a little fun. It's not like anybody who's watching this is gonna skip out on DOFP anyway.

I've pondered this question for some time now. Apparently they were making a reference to a show called Hart to Hart in which there is a pet dog named Freeway. Of course just watching it just sounded like heart to heart but Fassbender turned it around into a reference. lol

Mavis Zene what do YOU mean? I dont care what they are as long as the interviews not the usual shit we see. I prefer the interview being funny. that gives the movie more attention and buzz. I love the whole Fox marketing with this movie. They have thrown their actors into all these different outlets and told them to have fun rather than a serious rehearsed style of interviews. This is brilliant marketing.

I'm glad they're having a laugh but smoking marijuana minutes before an interview is very unprofessional. You should know that. These actors are hilarious off screen and I'm sure they don't need a little weed to be just that.
