Women in The Assembly (I Corinthians I4:33-40)
I. "LET WOMEN KEEP SILENT
IN THE CHURCHES"
Note she was not the only one so commanded. Tongue speakers were to ìkeep silent " when there was no interpreter (1 Corinthians 14:28). Prophets were to keep silent while another spoke (1 Corinthians 14:30). This does not mean that God's woman could not participate in any way in worship. They could not speak in the sense of leading the congregation or preaching.
II. WHY?
"For they are not permitted to speak, but let them subject themselves." Again the principle
shines out that they are to submit to the man. This is not because of inferiority. All of us submit at times to others. We submit to God (Joshua 4:7), to leaders in the church (Hebrews 13:17), and to elders and one another (1 Peter 5:5).
"As the Law also says." This is referring to Old Testament law. This teaching was not new.
It is the same principle as taught in the Old Testament."It is improper for women to speak
in the church." It is improper because it violates God's plan. Our place is to submit to the
plan.
Hence, God's women are thus restricted in their area of worship. But little more than the men.

I would think twice before judging her. When you judge it comes back on you. You would be much better of praying for God's will to be done in her life, and let God judge according to His righteous judgement, He alone knows all truth, concerning each one of us.:-)
