I live in Lancaster, California, and I don't use any fertilizers ,it's all organic , I don't buy any types of soil, I just keep composting what ever organic matter that comes from my garden, kitchen waste etc.

I let some grow but I have queen Ann's lace around too so I might get white carrots but that's ok with me

I'm not a fan of white carrots, I used to grow them but I got tired of them, they send out too much foliage while the carrots remain small

@MyHighDesertGarden i couldnt grow carrots no matter what i did, so i started planting the tops and now i have carrots & seeds. 😊
