    As a Verstappen fan I was disappointed in how he conducted himself I get he was frustrated with the team and strategy but the dive on Lewis was ridiculous

      @@samquinn4238 Yes, he just needs to tone himself down a tad. Any Max fan should be disappointed with his verbal behaviour. It’ll end up being destructive within the team, if it isn’t already.

    Like lewis said 'he was going for the move and it didn't work out, it can happen to anyone so its a racing incident'

      @@b_vynckier8626 A racing incident I would say, yes. I have no idea why Max thought it was Ham’s fault though. The gap left for Max was huge. It was an error caused my Max’s understeer issues most likely.

    My 2c on Red Bull (caveat: I'm a Lawson fan): I'd like to see Red Bull put Tsunoda into Perez' seat and bring Lawson into the second VCARB seat. I thnk Yuki has done more than enough to demonstrate that he deserves getting a shot at the second Red Bull seat, and he's getting consistent-enough points with the VCARB that I think he can consistently finish around P4-P7 in the RB.
    My concern with them bringing Lawson straight up is that they have a long history of effectively derailing the careers of young drivers by prematurely putting them into all the pressure that comes with that car. Better to let Lawson spend some time in the big-leagues adjusting to the pressure, with an eye on that second RB seat if Tsunoda and Ricciardo prove unworthy of it.

      @@SteveDawgNZ Certainly a good argument. Always a risk with the young drivers. It worked with Hamilton and of course Verstappen, but going into ‘Team Max’ would be a different prospect entirely, I agree. The problem with bringing Yuki in though, is his volatility. Yuki and Max shouting expletives at each other! Even though Max would be soundly beating Yuki of course. Lawson seems more Zen like. Same as Piastri. So long as they nurture and respect Lawson, I would expect him to shine.

    Man that was an interesting race. In my opinion MCL should have pitted Oscar first. Then if lando passed it would have been on pace. That way MCL would have saved themselves quite the headache. Love your stuff as always I always look forward to the uploads!

    • @BattalionRustASMR
      @BattalionRustASMR  3 місяці тому +1

      @@bean_____Boi Indeed. That’s exactly what they should have done. But also, I wonder.. if Lando had given the place back to Oscar straight away, creating the 2 second gap once again, he could have had the laps available to attack and pass Oscar, with the pace he had.

    25:44 finishing higher = less windtunnel time. Mclaren showed very good pace at the end of 2023 but only ended P4. So they had way more windtunnel time than redbull, thats why they have the fastest car now.

    • @luvdunce
      @luvdunce 3 місяці тому +1

      It about who uses the wind tunnel more efficiently, Red Bull has had the domination in the Aero development but McLaren has made a huge leap understanding their car better, and at the moment the upgrades Red Bull are bringing aren’t as effective although having a mastermind (Adrian Newey)

    • @BattalionRustASMR
      @BattalionRustASMR  3 місяці тому +1

      @@luvdunce Yes, I agree that Horner puts too much emphasis on the wind tunnel time, feeling that he has to because RedBull lost a small bit through the penalty. The quality of the wind tunnel time is more significant.

    • @BattalionRustASMR
      @BattalionRustASMR  3 місяці тому +1

      @@b_vynckier8626 I do believe that Horner overplays the importance of the actual time spent in the tunnel. He likes to make out that the penalty was huge. But it’s more what you do with the time.

    It’s such a shame that McLaren had to make Oscar’s first win feel so awkward. All they had to do was pit him first but McLaren made a bad strategy call once again. I also feel bad for Lando because the team put him in a lose-lose situation. And the way the team was trying to guilt Lando into doing the “right thing” over the radio was just embarrassing.

    there was a hungay gp in 2020, it was when verstappen crashed into the barrier on the lap from the pits to the grid and there was a mad rush to sort it out before the formation lap
