Worked on my Fold X. I also lowered my tire size because i did switch tires to street tires. I don't think that increases or decreases the speed but I'm going for accuracy. I'm gonna use map my ride to check it. The speed on mine was set at 35 and I increased it to 40.

I have the sondors folding x i followed instructions set to 40 it only went up to 23 mph. Does it take several rides to adjust to new speed setting. ? Thanks😊
Error 30 is one of the most common faults that occur, it is a communication error between your bafang components...usually the display and the controller. Unfortunately the Bafang set up First check all your connections and make sure they are connected solidly. Jiggle your connections and look for kinks in your wiring harnass. If this still works you probably have a fried component. Here are things it could be: Display (most common culprit) Wiring Harness Controller Speedo Good luck

Any idea where we can find the full documentation for all the advanced settings on the LCD? I’m managed to change something that has disabled all throttle & pedal assistance on my new Fold X (I suspect something in the CUr or SYs menus since I can make sense of most of the other options)

@@MikeAndTheGreatOutdoors I thought I’d perhaps blown a fuse or something that would account for the total lack of boost. However it intermittently started to respond and operate after I re-checked the connection point where the cable meets the motor. As far as I know I have yet to fix anything meaningful in the settings so I now suspect the connections. But it’s working at this moment. 👍
Curious I can only peddle 26.5mph then it deals as if the motor is breaking and won't it go faster, do you know if there is a restriction I can get rid of to peddle faster thanks

looking for the Battery setting ,, some how I messed it up and now it shows 3 bars then at any point it drains it still shows 2 bars , then dies completely at any given time while riding , had to peddle with no power a long way to get back home,, I need to set it back to it showing one bar blinking to let me know I need to start heading back home and charge it
@@MikeAndTheGreatOutdoors Yes been riding the bke for 4 years ,, I must have pushed the middle button to long to look at my odometer etc,,, and it changed something else,,, when I first got my bike I found someone on FB that showed me how to change each power bar to change each speed tp it etc,,, I had it set nice with out making it run full power at full speed , I didn't want to burn up the motor or the charging system , would like to put it back to factory settings but cant find the video on you tube that has the older style / Original LCD Screen
@@MikeAndTheGreatOutdoors This video is helpful it you mention changing speed settings but what about how the bars stay full and or drop 1 -2 bars , then while riding it never goes to 1 bar blinking it stays at 2 -3 bars and as I ride , when battery is dead it just turns off , then I'm stuck peddling home with out any power ,, does that explain my issue better ??? Thank you for your help
Well when its on its last bar it doesn't have like a percentage legfton the gauge. I've gotten a feel for the bike and use my miles riden as a guage also. My son has a rad mini, which has the same specs as my my bike. My bike shows less power left than his but we still can go the same distance
I absolutely recommend the air shocks. Not sure you would notice the difference between the 500 watt and the 750 watt unless you're in a hilly area. My son has the 750 watt and we dont notice much different unl6we are going up hill

Error 30 is one of the most common faults that occur, it is a communication error between your bafang components...usually the display and the controller.

I found a trick take the tire size to 17 inch an watch your rpm ..you will need to buy another speedo though

Hmm make sure you don’t have a brake or brakes dragging, proper tire pressure. Double check your settings
Thinking about getting one. Is there a problem with your knees hitting the frame when pedaling.
No problem with me the seat has a ton of adjustment

Change your tire size to the biggest size. Your speed will increase, but your speed accuracy will be wrong.

@@patleahy1985 Yes, I have it set that way, It shows way to be miles now. Not sure if speed increased, but torque at start up is more sgnificant.
Is this bike the X or the XS model?
It's for the fold X, not sure what display the XS uses. Most menu's are simular.

Between 23-24 mph. Downhill grade I can get 25.

It’s probably 40 kilometers per hour which is about 24 mph
