@@OkonkwoPlaysBass hopefully that will be the case for the next album, I only started listening to Muse 10 months ago and have gone chronically (with the exception of a few songs) so I'd love to see what that'd do with that
Its played in b harmonic, melodic and natural minor with a flamenco guitar and maraccas. Matthew Bellamy has clearly stated his Spanish influence which Mexican music shares a lot in common with. It sounds Mexican because it and a lot of the album it's from (look at the intro to dark shines and a bit of screenager too) is built on the style. So you're the real idiot here.
Can't remember it's Chris or Matt who said it but they're almost released an acoustic album few years back so I guess there's a hope it'll be come true in the future. Love live, Muse.
I think the original plan was for WOTP's album slot to be an acoustic one, but obviously plans changed. Would be great for a full acoustic in the next one, but maybe not much wider appeal other than diehard fans
@@duckseverywhere8119 You're right about WOTP. Doesn't matter to me if it's made for diehard fans only haha It'll remind me of that moment they did accoustic performance at a record store to promote Showbiz for maybe 15 - 20 people. Or maybe they can just do a Tiny Desk Concert for some refreshment (?).
I think Matt’s first foray into the world of music was taking Spanish guitar lessons… you can hear that some on Knights of Cydonia and Hoodoo, at least
Muse in general has Radiohead vibes they fuck with keys in a weird way like them and his vocals were definitely at least a little inspired by Radiohead
@@arthur38379 Muse, like Radiohead, has idols and inspirations. Coincidentally, both of them have the most important idol - Jeff Buckley. Muse took over the more expressive and emotional side of Jeff, if you compare the live falsetto vocal improvisations of Jeff and Matthew, you can see great similarities. Thom Yorke, on the other hand, took on Jeff's much more melancholic and depressing side. That's all we need to know. Muse has never been interested in Radiohead, and vice versa. All the similarities that we can hear between them are only the result of the coincidence that they have the same musical idol. How are my words confirmed? Both Matthew and Tom do not hide their love and respect for the work of Jeff Buckley, just as they do not hide the fact that he was the main source of their inspiration. The sound of Radiohead's music in general, initially did not correspond to their usual style, by which we know them now, and only when Thom Yorke attended a Jeff Buckley concert, after which he cried in amazement, decided to radically change the sound of his music, making huge changes in the as yet unreleased album The Bends. And only after that Radiohead released their eminent and hit OK Computer, the sound of which, it was already obvious, was completely inspired by the music of Jeff Buckley
@@derekderek2939 interesting I always attributed their similarities to their use of the Phrygian mode (not that this song is an example as it’s just harmonic minor), never realized there was an artist to attribute that sort of sound too I’ll have to give a listen..
Unplugged in baby
Good one
Brilliant
HAHAHA, you got me on that
Plugged out baby
Pissing myself
They Really should make an acoustic album
It's incoming
Nightwalk
1: what are you doing here nightwalk, and

This voice is beautiful in acoustic.
He has the voice of an angel
Matt wants to use an effect pedal so bad that he does it with his voice at 2:07
Vibrato

its because of harmonic minor and the V chord they use so much in minor key. its pretty flamenco inspired

If muse was born in mexico...
Acoustic Muse and tacos?! Proof of heaven?
No. Matt will shoot the cook.
No electric things . just like this version made with raw acoustic things and a few of tacos .
Exactly what i was thinking about mexico
I think Matt’s first foray into the world of music was taking Spanish guitar lessons… you can hear that some on Knights of Cydonia and Hoodoo, at least
his voice sounds so good in here
Plug in Baby lyrics
i love that vibrato .
THEY'RE GREAT NO MATTER WHAT THEY DO I MAY BE IN LOVE WITH THIS BAND
It's crazy how this one became my favorite as soon as I heard it🔥 it sounds natural as an acoustic song
It sounds so beautiful
3:02 Whoops! Played the riff in the wrong key :P
Jacodemon still sounded good IMO
And you've never had a shit and got some on your finger whilst wiping?!
loco ql de las weás que te dai cuenta jaja pero buena xD
Noticed that too but quick recovery 😂
I think you can hear him laughing about it too haha
This is so good. When I first listened to this version many years ago I fell to my knees and shivers ran down my spine
I respawned at least ten times. But I was playing quake 3 at the time :-/
Lmfao
sooo extra lmao
I really really want to watch them play this acoustic version live
This soothes my soul
Luv it
Idk if anyone heard, but I have earphones on and Matt hiccuped at the end lmao
Great !!!!!!
Absolute masterpiece ❤

03:03 a little mistake on guitar and matt laughing xD

Flamenco time! 💃🕺
Matt definitely forgot the last few lines and replaced with a bunch of “mmm’s”

All use songs are perfect for mariachi bands
Unplugged Baby
Plug In Baby live at Veracruz, yes yes yes.

This is a nice version 😏👌
👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This turned into _musa_
Some drugs baby #FantasticTune xD
2020
sounds like a Mexican song
hohoho maricris mass could it be despacito 2?
Plug in baby just has that sound to begin with
The Cydonian Knight plug in baby’s riff is stolen from Bach’s toccata which Sounds a bit Mexican in acoustic guitar
WHAT IS 2:05
Matt having fun?
This is from the Hullabaloo album.
Unplugged Baby lolllsssss
what is the source of this performance? I need to know 😭
Oh fk off, how fkn good is this
Hi guys! We are a band called Rainkid. Check out our music and give us some feedback, we would love that.
Peace Rainkid ❤❤❤
That riff almost sounds Mexican on the acoustic
Is that a hiccup?:P
Amos Esra No, he played the riff wrong and laughed lol
yes hiccup at 3:06
That's a laugh not a hiccup. He made sure it was audible because he made the mistake of going into the wrong key 😅
No, that's just him breathing
@@_KingOfCalifornia it was a Jimmy carr-esque inhaling laugh, I guarantee you
his breathing is so weird
+Ezequiel Agüero Wow
do you feel it on your neck or what
what is year?
A year is a measurement of time it is 365 days
Fun fact: they wrote this on shrooms
Someone got some Radiohead vibes?

Flamenco ≠ México
Get It?
I know I'm late but thank god someone said it
Someone farted at the end 3:16
Is that an oud? Def not a guitar
At 3:07 it sounds like he’s crying
Is this orginal tuning?
If this sounds Mexican then the Mexicans are copying Bach.
