This guy had the experience of a lifetime. I'm so glad he got the oppertunity to be playing with the best band of the last decade!

It sounds like distortion and maybe some chorus/reverb but other than that, that's him hitting those notes

I'm still sceptical tbh, generally he's not hitting a few notes on the verses, the chorus is ok.
I think I can hear the change in sound just as he starts the high notes and then the camera doesn't do a still focus on him which makes me slightly more suspicious
Mp H It depends on what his comfortable vocal range is. He may be more comfortable hitting those falsetto notes at the end than those during the rest of the song. I can "sing" those falsetto notes at the end much more comfortably than the notes in the chorus and verse. The vocal effects help fill out the outro falsetto but are not helping him hit those notes.
Listen to the outro of plug in baby during the drones tour. It's the same effects used

What a dream come true!!! The best part of the whole thing was the falsetto, which I personally think the dude nailed, and seeing all the band members just smile at it. Definitely gives a warm feeling to see a favorite band give their fans chances of a lifetime!

Muse are great! they love what they do. They're headbanging to no almost ZERO CROWD, and that shows how much they love their songs no matter what. And they respect the guy JAMES and did not act as if they were bored.

Obviamente ganó el concurso porque podía llegar hasta los agudos más altos de Matt, pero le faltaba técnica en los graves, lo más fácil no lo hizo del todo bien pero con el final la rompió. Debe haber estado muerto de pánico al inicio. Pero que bueno que Muse haga esta clase de concursos y pueda cumplir los sueños de sus fanaticos.
