Merry Christmas Devin. I think what season 2 lacks in animation, it makes up with better narrative and a more connecting story.
I agree, while animation-wise it's not so effective, there is a lot more emotion in the story.

Story wise season 2 is better. But again OPM is about the action and season 1 provided that silky smooth animation
Season 1 is a 9.5/10, season 2 is a 7/10, and season 3 is going to be so amazing

Yeah, it seems like they take the whole "snot-nosed kid" thing literally when it comes to anime.
Ay man, first of all, Merry Christmas!
Second, King may get weak in the knees when there's monsters around, but if you really think about it, he does have a few superpowers, the main one being _he can unknowingly summon Saitama._ I'm not sure if it's official canon, but every time he got in trouble, Saitama was always there to save the day. It might not be just a coincidence. Or you could say he has the power of luck, like Domino in the Deadpool movie, which usually translates into Saitama being nearby when he needs him. (Edit: I wrote all this before you even said it)
Also, if he plugged a nintendo controller into Genos' ass, he could probably defeat any hero or monster around, and even give the Caped Baldie a good fight.
