Imagine spending 100 USD for an expansion that has 1/5 the content of a new game that costs $70. And that $500 u spent over 5 years somehow wasn't enough to improve the "CORE PLAYLIST" lmao. Isn't it pretty funny a studio with 450-500 LESS employees like Insomniac can pump out masterpieces every 2-4 years? I think so.
Then imagine Not being able resell any of it or play most of that old content. I sold Paper Mario TTYD (Gamecube) for $102 USD a few weeks ago WITHOUT the manual. I don't think u will ever be able to do that with D2 Lmao

I have my vorpal roll and its ok (its no mountaintop in damage). One for all seems like a bigger buff for trash mobs, which honestly would keep it in higher content if it weren't for shields (which lightfall is changing).

Something they could do to help dares is make the armor only drop if it’s not in your collections so that people can still get old armor for transmog but the weapons have a slightly better chance.
If they did that, the number of people engaging with the game would decrease.
The reason Bungie makes decisions that can seem counter productive to efficient farming is because they are trying to be counter productive to efficient farming.
Once the Destiny community accepts this fact, they can finally move on with these hopes and dreams that will NEVER happen.
i have been doing a sweat in dares trying my ass off to get the tangled shaders and tangled rust will not fucking come off of the armor i'm war crime ready at this point

The armors on dares should definitely be deleted from the activity, the armors didn't even get more than 60 total stats

I agree. All armor should be removed from dares completely. There’s no need for it if it drops less than 65 total stats. We have master dungeons for armor farming.
you're high, i've gotten many cracked stat distribution pieces which drop up to 68 total stats (at least with the old armor pre dares update this season). granted they aren't as useful since artifice is getting changed, dares is probably the best source for non artifice high stat gear that is farmable outside of seasonal umbral focusing
Legend dares drops high stat armor though? My highest stat total armor in each slot (that isn't exotic) are from dares (66, 68, 67, 67).
Then there’s me cleaning out my vault and finding an ignition code that I never knew it was there. Rolls? Blinding nade, spike, slideshot, vorpal. Life’s good brother

I still have my blinding, slideshot, vorpal from splicer. The only time it isn't equipped is when I'm using agers.

I admire your dedication to this. I only did 3 warden of nothing gm runs before I stopped and said the wendigo I got was good enough. Spike grenades, auto loading, and frenzy. I have a demo + explosive light typhon so I think I'll be fine.

So happy for you man. I’ve been watching this grind for like a year. I’ve had a similar situation myself, been farming the Nightmare Containment activity for a Mini Tool, have done 1 and a half season total. And not 1. So I can’t even buy it from the kiosk or smth
i don’t think calus mini tool drops from containment, only the opulent chests with the keys you get 💖

You have to use opulent keys, containment only drops season weapons. Same as ikelos weapons with there little resonant bs

my first drop season of splicer was an ignition code with slideshot, spike, blinding, and vorpal. it is never, ever, ever getting deleted. it used up all my good luck for last year and this year. life has been awful ever since.

So glad I kept all 11 of my Ignition Codes from Beyond Light, 1 of them happened to have blinding nades, slideshot,and demo

I feel your pain. I focused probably 85-90% of my umbrals into ignition code from splicer until WQ launch and never got the roll I wanted.
tbh they should give a menagerie-esque focusing system for dares with how massive the lootpool is
Been using my blinding ignition code since it came out but I also scored a blinding, autoload, vorpal wilderflight that I might use instead depending on if I need my primary slot for more dps in the lightfall raid
The only ignition code that I still have with blinding is one with ambitious assassin and frenzy. But I do still have 2 others with slide shot but with proximity and spike + and danger close + vorpal + frenzy.
after 216 dares chests opened in season 21 i finally got mine, nothing but respect for sweat here, farming a good ignition code is pain
