I think the new engine is not good. I'm from Saudi Arabia. More than 25,000 LC300 and 8000 LX600 were sold, and I saw a lot of engines break down because of the heat and because of the main bearing
I think the new 3.5L engine is not reliable and does not withstand extreme conditions such as 5.7L . In Saudi Arabia, temperatures reach more than 125 F
David you are spot on with these 10 reasons. I love your reviews and insight. Here in Puerto Rico this vehicle is priced at $135,000.00. I'll wait for the Sequoia. Thanks!
There is. The base LX600 or the highest end Ultra Luxury are 2 row only. Just not an option on the other trims, but the 3rd row is power fold flat now and much simpler than before.
David, While we all admire the LX, the luxury and handling mission would be much better fulfilled with a unibody structure and independent rear suspension. Something like a Lexus LS CUV comes to mind. It goes without saying that off-road prowess and body-on-frame capability is maximized with the humbler Land Cruiser. 😁
I love Lexus , but many thing mast to change the screen interior led color light , engine for more than 2700kg the power need to be V8 turbo engine and many thing more to change
Hi, the information screen is a joke! They fixed the Pad then now they screw-up on the double screen. The rear window shades is manual for a flagship car is another joke. I called this LX DOA!
The interior of LX600 is clearly a step down from LS and LC models. For the price Lexus should have offered something special like the interior of LC500 but unfortunately they offered something that is just plain vanilla!
Hi David. All I can say is I wish Toyota had kept the 5.7L V8 and gave it the 10 speed transmission. No way will a high strung V6 have the reliability factor of the V8. Does Toyota really think that the Buyer handing over $80K-$128K is concerned about MPG. Just saying.
With the direction the LX is going, it’s not an off-road capable SUV or the most off-road capable. It has low approach angle which will rip off at an easy trail, if you want off-road for the land cruiser or 4Runner, Tacoma, sequoia and tundra from 2008-2021

Regarding this vehicle the LX, I'm willing to agree that it may be the best vehicle made in the world but any SUV (especially one that starts at $80,000) in which the third row is useless except for toddlers is useless to most Americans that's why Escalades, Yukons, & Suburbans are so popular.
