Hi Marci2225! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. I hope you enjoy Tortola as much as I did. It's one of my favorite ports.

Very interesting! I love finding out about lesser known "touristy" stuff too! And relax....you really light up when you're in your zone telling a story!!!

Thank you! I'm slowly getting used to talking to the camera. I've never had trouble with people face to face, but the camera seems to make me nervous. I think it's cause I can't gauge my audience like I can when I am speaking to a person.

Its amazing how some people say that the soil is thin and cant support much when in fact these islands once was used by the British to cultivate sugar cane, banana and other crops that was exported to BRITAIN 🇬🇧.

Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. I really appreciate your insight. And thanks for helping me say it correctly. Yes, I was surprised as well that the 3 Tortola history sites didn't mention hardly anything about the many agriculture advancements that came about. I got the feeling they were speaking in generalities about the island. Either way it's one of those ports I look forward to going back too.

Cool video. Nice that you take a genuine interest in the place. I live in Road Town, and to be honest, there isn't a lot to see. Once you've seen Pier park and Waterfront Drive, you've seen the best bits. The rest of it is pretty ghetto tbh. The best thing to do is get to the beach, Cane Garden Bay would be my recommendation. 15 mins drive from town, beautiful bay, and a few good places to eat.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I always enjoy chatting. I understand what you mean. But I'm working on a short bit for HM Prison, which I toured while there. I'm a huge supporter of history and would love to see such a place get the support and foot traffic it needs to help it. If I understand correctly there are 2 other smallish museum on the same street.

Hello Canada! Thank you for taking the time to leave such a wonderful comments. 🙂 I'm so glad you found some useful information in the video's. I'm still getting used to talk to a camera and not people so your comments go a long way to help boost my confidence. Yes, my fur babies like to be involved and often follow me into my office while I'm working so I try to include them in my video's when I can. Normally during the outtakes at the end of each one.
