You will love it! It really is an incredible little helicopter and right now my favorite 180 size Heli that I own. I have gotten around 100 flights on it already. It is my go to pretty much daily warm-up practice Flying Helicopter LOL

Mine arrived yesterday, unfortunately it did not bring the sunshine with it. M2 v3 should arrive in a few weeks.
Rescue: I hacked my way to making it work, used a spare channel assigned to my separate rescue switch, then "mixed" that channel with the gear channel so that wherever the gear switch (flight modes) is - be it normail, stunt 1, or stunt 2, when I hit rescue the gear channel is raised as high as it will go (which puts the heli back into normal or (auto level) mode. Works inverted as well. You must deal with the collective after it goes back to upright...
Great flights - you mentioned speeding up cyclic speed. Curious if you changed cyclic gain and agility to speed up response off center-stick? Thanks!

Looks good. If it is cheaper and spare parts are available it is a good alternative te the M2
It is cheaper than the M2 V2 but the new EVO is a cheaper. But spare parts are cheaper the M2 if not hand-in-hand on price.
You provide so much content, thank you. My recent 1st heli is a OMP M1, just learning orientation at the moment. i think a slightly bigger heli would not hurt. I know "whats best" question must annoy at times BUT would you suggest stsying with OMP and get the new M2 v3 or this Goosky. Also can i ask if the rescue setup for spektrum pre G1 transmitter is still on the cards?
Did your helicopters are always better especially for orientation learning. That is a tough call because both models are great, the S2 flies incredible, the M2 flys incredible. The new M2 EVO is supposed to be hand-in-hand with the S2 but as the current form the S2 does fly’s better then the M2. Tail performance is better quieter FBL tune in performance is out of this world it is so rocksolid. I would say go with the S2 or the new M2 EVO.
Can anyone tell me how big this helicopter is compared to the blade 150s?

Man that’s a tough call! Both are great, I like the S2 a little more, mainly because of the power. The S2 is more powerful
@@westhobbiesrc8051 so now I have it narrowed down to either the S2 or the 2021 mini comet combo. 200 dollar price difference but I’m thinking the new mini comet is way better
@@tomgjonaj9965 personally I would go with the S2 over the mini comet, I have the fireball and it’s heavy! It fly’s heavy and don’t crash as well as the S2 does. You can’t beat the performance for the S2. You get a BNF heli that can put down and take a beating! With the mini comet you still need FBL so your about $400 higher then the S2.

I really like the features and the look of the blade nano s3. That helicopter really sucks because after 100 flights will need to Change the motor and also because the battery will only last 30 flights then you will get less flight time every time you fly until it is unusable.The last problem with the blade nano s3 is that the servos will get dirty, and will make the servos fail because of all the dust inside. The blade nano s3 is the worst helicopter from horizon hobby , it is to expensive to be 160 dollars rtf. The other helicopters from horizon hobby are great except the blade nano s3. I am not a horizon hobby hater ,it is just that I didn’t like one of there products.
That is really the problem with any brushed motor model. After a while the brushes were out, it’s some thing we used to deal with back in the day when electrics first came out brushed motors only last so long. That is also another problem with linear or servos, they are an open board Servo and they get dirty very easily. It’s kind of a lose lose in away because when you go to such a small model you are going after light weight and you could never get full servos and some thing that small.
I have a few S3's and spare parts. Love them. Easy to fly in the house. Harder to fly outside. For the price you are correct, there is the XK K100, little more power and why cheaper. Also very good. But what the Nano lacks, more than makes up for in house flights. Proper set up and it is smooth, not twitchy. Another thing, just a perception thing, it is less intimidating.
