Darts Spanish TV Performance: Daddy Cool, Boy From New York City, Who's That Knocking?

Great footage from a show broadcast in October 1978 but probably filmed in July of that year. On keyboards is Mike Deacon who replaced Hammy Howell who had just left the band due to illness. Den Hegarty had also left by the time the show hit the TV screens.

Never ceases to amaze that whatever madness Big Den is up to on (or off) stage, he is always back at the mike in time for his next note. Saw them live recently and neither the madness nor the perfect vocals and timing have changed :)
