I wouldn't recognise any famous pool players, even though there is a pool table and team in most pubs in the UK. My friend has just moved to California from the UK to work, and he has joined a dart team in a local bar, I'm not sure if they play the same format as us though.

That's the pleasant difference (of many individual sports) to football. There is prize money of X amount and no van Gerwen, Wright, or whoever can say: "I'm not even traveling for that!" While 18-year-old "boys" are hyped by their advisors, earn millions and behave as if they have already achieved something in life. I am also a fan of my hometown's football team. But such “athletes” are extremely unpleasant.
This is what makes being alive today so wonderful - I woke up at 5am today, made a cup of coffee and this randomly popped up on my feed. I just watched a bunch of guys 1/2 way around the world have a lot fun, smiles and a great time playing a simple game of darts. It’s the little things folks. The little things in life that bring us together, make us smile and help to try and make our short time here enjoyable. Thanks to everyone in this video in helping to remind me to smile and enjoy life. Thank you from Long Island, NY.

Well look at that algorithm.. I’m a 46yo woman with absolutely zero interest in darts but it was recommended and looked like it might be a fun watch so I did. Awesome! And not because of the ‘prank’ but more on a primal level - a bunch of talented, fun guys giving back to supporters in a genuine and friendly way and a bunch of men, my brothers in a worldly sense even though not blood, just feeling happy and smiling. I’m a sentimental auld thing but I loved it. Thanks for sharing 👍🏼 Edit: just had a brief read through some of the comments and it seems I’m not the only one who enjoyed this video for the pure joy of seeing people happy together. Humans are incredible.

@@motorhead4870Clayton was fairly obvious with his throw, but Asp is fairly generic in throwstyle and Cullen and Dobey were VERY well disguised! Only Johnny would stick out - His face structure was also still visible in disguise.
I have never played darts in my life and somehow this was in my recommended, I was smiling, feeling happy for the amateurs meeting and playing against the pros. Made my day.
Would love to see Asp get far, but I think its down to Humphris or MvG, but I bet MvG will fail in the very late stages - Been kind of a thing the last few years now.
i saw Jocky Wilson at a pub event in Fife years ago. Watched him practice and hit a nine darter just warming up. In the competition he marched to the semi final but the guy he played was fantastic and should have won but Jocky just got though. He was a gentleman all night, much loved in his local area.

Amazing to see professionals do this. I remember going on a pub crawl in Hull with the players from Hull KR many years ago. It shows they are just normal people with special skills ❤
I was in the US Air Force, stationed at RAF Woodbridge, in East Anglia. After three years, I was asked to be part of my local pub's darts team. I had my own board set up in my house, and shot a LOT. I got pretty good..and hit MANY 180's in competition. Having said that, this was ... 47 years ago.
