When you guys load/unload the Swift’s do you have them totally floating? And do they do alright sliding onto little pebble beaches? I’m thinking about the Kevlar fusion solid color like yours. Just wondering about durability. I could baby her a little.
Hi Michael, I personally do baby the boat when possible, I don't hesitate to get my feet wet, typically boat is always in the water when I load it. While the Kevlar fusion is pretty tough and the modern resin seems to handle scratch's, resist cracks better then my older Kevlar canoe does, eventually you'll get scratch's, if you often slide up to shore you'll wear through to cloth at some point. Skid plates are probably a good idea if that's typical usage for you. Gel coat is a little tougher then clear resin like my boat but just from my experience with my older canoe I find clear resin so easy to repair myself compared to Gelcoat, i chose that. So far my packboat has 4 seasons of tripping on it, shes got plenty of scratch's but nothing that warrants any repairs of yet. Good luck choosing your boat and happy tripping!
Amazing trip! Now if only there was someone else recording on thier channel for a different perspective #inspirationalshit
That’s a great idea! And maybe… just maybe one day it might happen!

Nice video, Jonathan! I just did a few nights leaving from Travers. It is a beautiful area! Caught a bunch of tiny Brookies!
