Lots of heavy weather, big old house, redemptive romance, in a tiny Newfoundland fishing village. It won the National Book Award (USA) and the Pulitzer. It's on Kindle and Audible. Hope you enjoy. I just read Resurrection by Tolstoy and I loved it!!! Two of my favorite books of all time are definitely this one and Anna Karenina. It took me 5 days to read Resurrection, and when I finished it I felt like it stabbed me in the heart. Its so deep and amazing, and full of hope. English is not my main language, so I cant really express the emotions and feelings, but I really hope that you will love the book and I am looking forward to the video about it. It is Maas's first work so the first book does show off a new writer still finding her voice but once you get to the third novel, you won't be able to put them down. Thank you for your lovely videos!
I would recommend reading "Crescent City: The House of Earth and Blood" by Sarah J Maas. It's her first adult fantasy series - the second book comes out in February. But her writing in this book is somewhat different and more mature imo and I really enjoyed the world building! Definitely better than the "Throne of Glass" series I think!! :)
I'm also going through a Studio Ghibli obsession right now.. currently reading Kiki's Delivery Service. I want to read How Do You Live. That copy is gorgeous. Also I bought The Bloody Chamber because of you lol. I can't wait to read it.

Hey! I think it's because of bugs and other pests that could have travelled home with you in the used book. Placing them in the freezer for a day or two can kill whatever could be in there so they don't infest your house 😅
