- This is just a quick reprogramming of an old/use keyfob for 08 Nissan Versa
Steps:
1.manually lock the door
2.insert key on/off until flashing signal will show on the dashboard
3.click any button on old/used keyfob
4.turn off the ignition key then turn it on again into Acc position
5.push the lock and unlock on the door side
6.turn off the ignition key
7.then try to lock and unlock the car using keyfob and ur done
Thanks for the help! I had two fobs for my 2008 Nissan Versa and I guess my mechanic reprogrammed just the one when working on something, so the method in the video helped me reprogram both to work in tandem.
For those who have more than one fob, make sure you perform the steps in the video with both fobs TOGETHER. That is, have them both with you and while in the reprogram mode, and hit the unlock button for each fob after manually unlocking and re-locking the doors.
Steps below:
1. Close driver's side door and manually lock the doors.
2. Insert car key several times until the 4-ways blink rapidly twice.
3. Re-insert car key and turn to ON position (do not start the engine).
4. Manually unlock and re-lock the doors once.
5. Hit the unlock button on one of the key fobs. The 4-ways should rapidly blink twice again.
6. Repeat steps 4 & 5 for EACH key fob you own.
7. Turn car key to LOCK position and remove the car key.
8. Manually unlock the doors.
9. Open the driver's side door.
10. The key fob(s) should now be able to lock and unlock the doors remotely again.

You have 1.9 second once the car unlocked ( after inserting the key 5-6 times )
You have to lock it again using the button and switch the key to ACC then you are in programming mode and can just push any button on the new remote and it will work.
If you are late than 1.9 second ( I.e if you get to 2 seconds , you have failed . And have to start again ) . Timing is everything!
