For those who are having a hard time . this is the full tutorial ! : 1. Put tha VGA cable to the connector(VGA to HDMI) . 2.put the HDMI at the back of your ps4 3. You should have micro USB for your monitor and ps4 to work . you can use any charger . 4. Turn your on until you hear two beeps . it will turn your ps4 into safe mode. 5. You should have your ps4 charger to be plugged in 6. You will choose the right resolution for your ps4

Quick question: if you were to change the headset audio output to "all audio" and then plugged a headset into the controller, couldnt you just get sound like that?

Btw you don't need the vga cable with the USB part, What you'll need to do is look at the back of your monitor there are two ports, D-Sub(which is the normal one that you may be using, and the one that you need to use is DVI-D , you can purchase the cord which is like $8 CAD at Walmart. So instead of plugging your vga cord into the converter , this cord all you have to do is connect it to the monitor and plug and your HDMI into it. Change the settings in safe mode and viola! Although you will have to use external headphones for the sound. pCE!
