If anyone is wondering where Meta Knight is on the photo, you can see his mask broken on the floor, which probably means that he fled the scene.

Can you imagine in the extra mode, when Magolor soul gets rid of your super ability, not only does he destroy it, but he ALSO drains your HP leading it to freaking 1% of it, meaning that the second you get hit, you instantly die, making this a truly hard final boss.
