Here are the rules in cased you missed it
1. I HAVE to use a copy ability at all times (so no cheesing fights with base form Kirby).
2. The 22 main copy abilities (excluding Crash, Sleep, Festival, Mike, and Cook) will be used, and once one of them is knocked off from me by an enemy, that copy ability can no longer be used.
4. If I die without a copy ability in the other dimension sections, an ability will be lost at random.
5. Have a good time

Spark is serverly underrated. Incredible range, force field that can charge as you do other stuff, awesome down and up attacks, good on you for recognizing its poweress like 7 year old be did, and still does. Plasma is an imposter. Spark reigns supreme. ⚡️

Rules I'm using are the same as your's but with a few doing with the combo abilities and friends.if a comboed ability is knocked off both abilities are dead, and if an ally get's knocked they're dead and the ability they had as well (the same applies for dream friends, they can no longer be used for the rest of the run.)

TORNADO IS THE TRUTH
I feel like people sometimes forget how broken Tornado is, especially in this game. I did a challenge in the original game to beat both arenas with all copy abilities and Tornado remains as my fastest time yet.

I think Don's Kirby nuzlocks are the only challenge videos so far that made me actively root for the person playing. He goes through his own arcs, the presentation is awesome, and losing abilities hurts a little as well. The victory with the tornado felt great for me as well.
About Mecha, You didn't actually lose it, you shot yourself into a pit. We never SAW you lose Mecha, so in my opinion it doesn't count.
It’s a technicality
“Losing” and ability means it is forcefully removed from you, such as getting hit hard enough to knock it out
When he died to the pit, he respawned without the ability, meaning it was forcefully removed
So while we never saw it get lost, it was still taken from him

Idea: Multiplayer Kirby Nuzlocke, 4 people and everyone can use any currently “alive” ability, multiple people can use the same ability at the same time, and each one has 2 lives since with multiple people it’ll be easier to lose them

IS THAT A DUCKING FLOPPING FISH!?!??!?!?!? got me laughing
So I started my own one of these in the same game. My two main strategies are
1. Flying over almost everything
2. Spamming ranged attacks (e.x. Water's neutral attack and Beam's charge attack)
I have gotten to 3-1 only losing Sword in 1-4 to a stray projectile and Needle in 3-1 to a coconut explosion that I thought shoudn't have hit me. Most of my other damage taken was from surprise enemies (e.x. a gordo in a dark section).
I'll update this later.
Update - just beat White Wafers. Deaths listed below.
3-4: Lost Water underwater.
4-2: Lost Stone to icicle.
4-5: Lost Ice to pit in dark section.
Goriath: Lost Sand... somehow.
I'm worried.
Update 2 - Beat Egg Engines. Went surprisingly well. Deaths below.
5-2: Lost Wing to a ninja enemy
5-3: Lost Ninja to a Cutter enemy
Grand Doomer: Lost Mecha to the boss moving five seconds into the fight.
6-1: Lost Leaf to a stray projectile
Surprised no others were lost, was ready to sac Parasol.
Update 3 - I won
Parasol lost in 7-1.
Hammer lost to Magalor's last phase.
I won with Cutter, Fire, Beam, Bomb, Spark, Whip, Tornado, Spear, Hi-Jump and Fighter left.
The arrogance meter is such a good visual gag.

When it comes to the rules personally I would allow base Kirby but only under certain conditions:
1. If you spawn in base or if you lost a ability it can be used between the lose and getting a new one
2. If you loose every power up then you can use base Kirby but if you die like that then run’s over so essentially another life that can’t be knocked off but you have no special moves

Same reason for Stone.
When using Mecha, charge up the beam and guard/interrupt it with a jump or something, it’s really cool!
