Born in Bolivia, I became a fan at the tail end of this generation. I had the priviledge of watching most of these lads play. Thank you Manchester United.
You won't be forgotten Eric . Thanking you is the least I can say to you and it will never be enough . Because of you , I got to see the golden age of Man Utd . My deep condolences to his family . Your place cannot be filled by anyone .
Apart from the class of 92, let's not forgot he also provided us with Mark Hughes, Norman Whiteside and Lee Sharpe. RIP legend. Thank you for your work for so many years.
What a lovely, top guy Eric was. I'm Leeds through and through, but I loved watching the MUFC team of the mid to late 90's, some great European nights at Old Trafford. 1999 was a dream season for them.
Eric will always be remembered as a true footballing giant. I only wish United had a man of his stature and footballing nous now. Eric and Jimmy Murphy built the empire.
I'm a City fan but I'm primarily a football fan and to watch that Class of '92 team from the very beginning to winning the Treble and Butt, G Neville, P Neville, Scholes and Beckham play for England consistently the way they did was definitely a special time for English football. Sir Alex Ferguson was a great Manager and the best ever Premier League Manager without question. No manager I can remember has built 3 teams of Champions the way he did. Team 1 Schmeicheal Parker Bruce Pallister Irwin Kanchelskis Robson Keane Giggs Cantona McClair Subs Hughes Sharpe Team 2 Schmeicheal G Neville Stam May Irwin Beckham Keane Scholes Giggs Yorke Cole Subs Sheringham Solksjaer Butt Johnson P Neville Team 3 Van Der Sar G Neville Ferdinand Vidic Evra Ronaldo Fletcher Scholes Giggs Rooney Tevez Subs Nani Valencia Of those 3 teams my personal preference would have been Team 2 although Team 3 was probably the best team based on individuals and quality. I doubt they'll ever be any team winning the League, FA Cup and Champions League Treble in England again let alone one that produces the core of the team with 6 or 7 top class players that have came through the club's system. I remember City winning an FA youth cup one year and 5 of that team went on to play for the first team including David White, Steve Redmond, Ian and David Brightwell and I forget the other one but they had no success in the first team at all never mind winning a Treble. I grew up despising United, Sir Alex and those Class of '92 players in particular as it was but wrenching to watch them season after season lifting trophies and dominating but now as a 36 year old Man I have to admit that it was a great team, a great time for English football and that United under Fergie was something special. I'd have loved him to have stayed and competed with Peps 100 points domestic quadruple winning side of a couple of years ago. Maybe it would have saved both Manchester Clubs from having to watch Liverpool win the league.
alhamdulillah dengan dokumentasi dalam bentuk film ini . bisa bercerita atau mengingatkan kepada anak cucu kita nanti bahwa ada sejarah era emas Manchester United dan mengenang para class 92 ☺️
John O’Kane played in the first game of the 95/96 season for United away at Villa if I remember right. The game when Hansen said you won’t win anything with kids.
