FAQs-
Q: "Where is this?"
A: Our fire house is located in the town of Willow Street, just south of Lancaster City, Lancaster County Pennsylvania.
Q: "What is the spinning thing?"
A: That is called the "Roto-Ray," it is a spinning light designed to catch drivers attention.
Q: "Why is the call so far away?" or "Why does it take so long to get there?"
A: Many of our responses, or at least many of the ones that are uploaded are responding to assist other departments. Usually another firehouse can be seen or is passed by who is already on the call. We can reach the far end of our first due in West Lampeter Twp within 5 minutes, and in Providence Twp about 7.
Q: "What camera are you using?"
A: For dash cams I use a GoPro Hero 7, helmet cam videos I use a FireCam 1080

Hey, do the Amish still actively volunteer in Lancaster County still?
When i lived in Annapolis, was a Volunteer Lieutenant with Annapolis FD Eastport Company 36 and took trips up to Lancaster for the VFD Auctions w/my sister. But this was late 80's early 90's. Would see numerous Amish involved with the VFD's.
Just wondering if thats still the case.
The Amish are still heavily involved in the fire companies. There are a few companies that are majority Amish.

Was it a fire?
I guess pulling over to the right and stopping is no longer a law? The bycilist has a death wish.
