Incredible. This guys is not even worried about being first. That's already confirmed from the beginning of the race. He is simply fighting to beat the record
His cadence was around 200 strides/minute throughout the race! And it was an unstrained cadence for him. Eliud Kipchoge's cadence is around 195 strides/min, even in a marathon. That kind of turnover will keep you pretty light on your feet, which I think is the key to running fast (and possibly avoiding injury).

Those were not everyday runners he went up against either they were professionals. But he was chasing for a world record at the time which has been beaten already at this point. So it was no surprise they could not keep up with that pace.

@Lokesh gujjar lol no. Humanely impossible for 99.9% of people.

bullshit
Oh shut up
Pretty sure he's breathing just fine. Doesn't seem to be struggling at all
Those vehicles are electric
He constantly checking his watch.. this guy didn't race with other runners, he was racing with time😂
Where are other runners?
Me also 🏃run with time
most probably checking his pace for the desired lap.
This dude is a machine. There wasn’t another runner in sight

not to take away from this fab achievement but that's all they do where he's from.

Unglaublich starke Leistung der Sportler. Fantastisch ✨👌🦵 Jedoch empfinde ich die ganzen Roller und Motorräder sehr störend.
You can tell by how fast the scenery behind disappears, but It's on the side shots where you really see how fast he's running. That is a full gallopp!

I actually think his fellow Ugandan, Jacob Kiplimo, could take this record down pretty soon.
Check a video of The Runner claiming that someone called Aregawi just broke it
incredible, unbelievable.a man with indomitable spirit.bravo uganda.
I could hold this pace in my prime for about 2 minutes. That’s crazy crazy.
That would be a 2 mins flat 800. That's pretty good
That's a performance well above average for the vast majority of people.
Why are there so many bikes and why are they all so close. That stressed me out
