There should not be any vehicles around, the gas is very disturbing and difficult for runners to breath in. They can use electric cars, but not gasoline
Incredible. This guys is not even worried about being first. That's already confirmed from the beginning of the race. He is simply fighting to beat the record
@@heroe1486 Again, but hes not, so it doesnt matter. You can make all the suppositions you want, but thats why they dont actually matter, because they are just that, suppositions. His cadence was around 200 strides/minute throughout the race! And it was an unstrained cadence for him. Eliud Kipchoge's cadence is around 195 strides/min, even in a marathon. That kind of turnover will keep you pretty light on your feet, which I think is the key to running fast (and possibly avoiding injury).
i am hundred percent sure no one will break all his new records for twenty years.all his records are improved by the guy himself. What an athelet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those were not everyday runners he went up against either they were professionals. But he was chasing for a world record at the time which has been beaten already at this point. So it was no surprise they could not keep up with that pace.
Average People might think they can hold this for 2 mins but there wrong of you can run this for two mins ur a very good Highschool track runner rn I’m in 8th

Siempre he pensado en ése punto.
bullshit
Oh shut up
Pretty sure he's breathing just fine. Doesn't seem to be struggling at all
Those vehicles are electric
23,8 km/h non stop its insane
its like you running max speed for entire time.. for reference thats like 15 seconds every 100m
Definitivamente es un monstruo en la pista Joshua.
@@edrian3485 Assustador, super humano

Most people wouldn't be able to run a 60 seconds 400m, and this man is running it for 5k... That's just insane.
You ain’t lying
@Lokesh gujjar lol no. Humanely impossible for 99.9% of people.
I mean you can be fast.. like reaaaallly fast if you train. But a world record is a world record for a reason.
@Movies4U Nah, bro.
@@kumudkenedy9959 you talking about 60 sec 400? It's very possible for about 50 percent of people I'd say with a lot of hard training
And the cameraman comes in 2nd! Nice. Legendary performance as usual 👌
He constantly checking his watch.. this guy didn't race with other runners, he was racing with time😂
Where are other runners?
Me also 🏃run with time
most probably checking his pace for the desired lap.
Pure power and athleticism. My calves hurt just watching this.
MAN!!!
Jajajjaa
My whole body hurts watching this 😂
This dude is a machine. There wasn’t another runner in sight
(there was Jimmy Gressier but I know what you mean :) )
not to take away from this fab achievement but that's all they do where he's from.
@@troycambo And all you do is watching him and commenting on UA-cam, all you do is consuming and envying, as per your other comments.
@@troycambo lol I can just taste the air getting saltier by the minute
Unglaublich starke Leistung der Sportler. Fantastisch ✨👌🦵 Jedoch empfinde ich die ganzen Roller und Motorräder sehr störend.

Dang, I’d be annoyed by all those motorcycles
For real.
That gas make the air more humid

You can tell by how fast the scenery behind disappears, but It's on the side shots where you really see how fast he's running. That is a full gallopp!

The thing is, for most people if you run at that kind of cadence then the heart might get exploded soon...

Look how slim he is. He runs like an impala, effortlessly
I could hold this pace in my prime for about 2 minutes. That’s crazy crazy.
That would be a 2 mins flat 800. That's pretty good
That's a performance well above average for the vast majority of people.
The most beautiful relaxed and powerful stride! I could watch him run all day. Poetry in motion, absolutely mesmerizing! ❤🏃🏾♂️💨🔥🔥🔥 Salute! 🫡🫡🫡

I actually think his fellow Ugandan, Jacob Kiplimo, could take this record down pretty soon.
Check a video of The Runner claiming that someone called Aregawi just broke it
@@jguixyes aregawi did it at 12:49

sprinting for 13 mins is actually insane

All those scooters would have pissed me off
These guys look so much faster on the road than on the track
Yeah it's much easier to visualise their speed with buildings and terrain passing behind them
Why are there so many bikes and why are they all so close. That stressed me out
He is so consistent that it doesnt look fast.
Ιnsane, I run 5K in 22min 10K in 48min and I feel like, I won the World Champion 🤣
😂😂😂
8:49 and onwards looked like a movie. Brilliant stuff.
A few angles from a stationary camera to give an idea of the speed would have made this video even better
His pace = My sprint
And i could hold that for only 30 seconds
joshua gotta have the most perfect strides.

The power there..
Hitting the ground like a hammer
Espectacular
Even if I run at my full speed to race him in 100meters, I’d lose 🤣
Very annoying camera crew. He might have lost a few seconds a few times thinking he is about to catch them up
What a strength!
Such a cool frame around the 1:50 mark with the backdrop
Just WOW!!

That road is so awesome. Imagine if they raced CARS around here!!
Yeah really, but make the cars go fast
They’d have to be the Aussie race cars because that would be too tight for Regular ones
Que incrível slc

Give the world record breaket an extra $10m, a loi more East African runners wll be breaking world records in long distance running.
Running a sub-30 second 200m is lethal for me. This guy is doing it for 5 thousand meters, 25 times over.

If his watch measures wrist-based power, average power will be very high. Consistent, powerful strides.
Amazing run. The scooters are too congested and almost running him over. Notnfair and not safe.
