runners are the most underrated athletes in the world especially distance runners , the most of the inhuman things are done by them and still they get overshadowed by footballers , cricketers etc , these distance runners should be appreciated more as they put more than work we can ever imagine .

Don´t lie. I do 20 minutes and 38 seconds on my bike for the 10 kilometers and I'm like the laziest man in the world. Also my bike is not made for speed if it were I would cut down the time, probably to sub 19.

When I was on holiday we did trips on electric bikes and while cruising not putting in much effort we were riding around that speed. But without electric aids I'm definitely closer to like 15kmh. Running 23kmh for that long is absolutely insane.
Most people dont even realize how fast this is, I started running 3 weeks ago and 3 days ago I did my first 10km run in about 1:30h and i was proud of myself.. this guy is insane

These East African runners are so nice. Even when they're struggling to express themselves in english, they try their best to communicate how nice and grateful they are to the support from the fans watching. It's heartwarming to watch bc they just ran their hearts into the grounds and they still want to show fans and media appreciation.

Bekele was my favourite runner, so disappointed that he no longer has the record, but at least he held it for a very long time. this guy is incredible. Bekele was my favourite runner, so disappointed that he no longer has the record, but at least he held it for a very long time. this guy is incredible. Will be very interesting to see if he moves to marathon when he's older & what he will do there. I think he could probably make an attempt at the half marathon record now tbh lol.

For the male commentator, absolutely. It really is a shame they invited Sonia O'Sullivan to do guest commentary. She was objectively awful: monotone, boring, full of awkward pauses and "you knows". Her commentary was devoid of insight or emotion, basically just a waste of time. I haven't heard such inept, terrible commentary since the Carol Lewis days. Yeesh.
