Catalyst & Co Painter Beck Lane talks about her an artist residency at Creative Libertie's Gaze Gallery in the Arcos building & utilizing the space.
In 2024:
~ Beck was the winner of both the Halo Arts Project fellowship & the Johnson Singer Foundation award. The artist is the first individual artist to receive a fellowship from Johnson Singer Foundation
~ Beck has also been given two artist residency: the first with Creative Liberties, in the Arcos building, at 340 Central Ave, Sarasota there Oct. 27th; the 2nd is at the Hambidge, Rabun Gap GA Nov. 12th - Dec. 15th.

That really is a great space! I know what you mean about being in a small studio and not being able to step back to look at the work in progress. A mirror is helpful but really being able to step back and ponder is best.
Ha ha, Twinkies and Little Debbies is hilarious and you're right way more fun! Wish I could come!
