These sound really great and I love the simplicity, but I kind of wish they went with neural dsp and went down the gojira X plugin route, Trivium have used and experimented with loads of different guitar tones and effects over their albums, would be great to replicate those tones and play with their rigs in more detail! Also, as they use Quad Cortex overseas, it would've made sense now that those plugins are finally being imported to the quad.
Hey Lady! On the lead guitar Ampknob you can actually dial the chorus and the delay. If you click on the little tab on top of the effects that reads "open" it will bring a menu with the controllers for the effects. For the chorus it has "amount" and "depth" controls. For the delay it has a "time" knob and a toggle switch if you want to sync it to your DAW. It has a "feedback" knob, a level knob, and another toggle switch to change between normal delay or ping-pong delay. Basically it has everything a delay pedal would have. That Trivium lead guitar Ampknob has a lot of knobs on it. 😁
There was a brief power cut for less than a minute so this is my second attempt at watching this. That first impulse response with the modern amp overall rhythm sound is as close to perfection as I'd want from an amp sim. Also, I love the look of that guitar with the gold hardware and the Floyd Rose.
@@arthurspooner8442 I would recommend downloading the free trial of each and testing them out, that is what I did and the 5169 was a better fit for the music I'm making
Love what these guys put out, tried them all out so far (my favorite being the BDH III), gonna try these ones soon, probably a new contest coming? I hope so!
I love it (rhythm in red mode, modern cabinet, dry) I love how it growls and it has that hi end sizzle that doesn't sound harsh but rather silky. WOAH, the matched cab of the lead one gets me some serious first generation line6 pod vibes, especially with the corus and delay turned on LOL. Sorry, I'm a bit POD traumatized.
I'm also still using EZ Mix - Devins Crunch - still one of the best go to sounds. If you add CLA Guitars ontop with its default setting - sounds freaking huge!
Hola stated a few swolas ago (I dont recall exactly which one, or it was a FAQ?) that he's not interested in his name being on a plugin, and that NeuralDSP actually contacted him a few years back about his own Archetype but he declined but Neural already had some work made (they showed him a demo) so that work eventually became the Fortin NTS plugin we know today
Diggin the tones from all 3 amps and the addition of a simple delay and chorus. Delay always helped me with writers block. I wouldn’t mind a Machine Head BME,and TMTC tones. But it would just be another 5150. lol 🤘🏻
Sounds very impressive 🤘🏻🤘🏻and bass heavy is good as it’s always gonna chug for you on high gain Ola 😀that is so cool it covers all the bands sounds too
The bass tone is a bit underwhelming but i know their bassist doesn't use picks most of the time. Which will have a fair difference to the sound I imagine. Rythm and lead sound tight AF. Will definitely give a whirl.
They sound great as usual, but I think these single individual amp knobs are becoming silly... Why not just create one single plugin with all of these included for $100 or something...
😂😂😂😂 I live in America and I've taught myself Norwegian and now I'm teaching my 11 year old daughter Norwegian. Of course Swedish is very similar and in the beginning of the video, the very second you yelled out "faen!!!!", my daughter was on the sofa and heard and immediately started laughing. Yes....she knows how to swear in Norwegian because of me 😂
1:25 Ola you are killer….not just musical but just in general….you are a killer dude….just picked up a chug t shirt….anyway….i just jumped in here….i have a question/request…..I know you did a review video on the Katana go, I am a big supporter of boss gear, I have several pieces and through my years have had many other pieces….so yes I have the katana go…..I know boss makes a wireless pedal for it….but if it is actually wireless could we not use other wireless pedals?…..with that said I know you did a video on the mooer p2 with the small wireless foot pedal….so here is my question/request….if you still have those pieces of gear, would you be able to test( if you will) to see if that mooer wireless pedal will pair with the katana go and will it control the unit…..thanks for you for being like the rest of us 🤘🤘
A vid about how to take your modeler ped or plugin to a level where it can compete with an extreme drummer would be a life saver, I need a way to have at least a trio, not giging or travlin' I sic of seeing guys in a room by them selefs or saying their running to front of huse, they never have someone crackin on a china when they test shit or talk tone
Pretty pointless to have the capability to load a personal ir if you ask me when you don't get any bass mid treble controls to compensate for something that clearly wasn't designed to run with the plugin. For example, ola's personal IR was way too muddy and bassy and completely lacked mids. Other than that, sounds great. EDIT Oh ok, ola says it himself when he tries the lead plugin. Nice.
Not a bad little dealy doo for a 'grab n go'. Bass tone left a bit to be desired, but to each their own. I give this a score of 2 tits, out of Siamese Twins.
I thought I was going to save some money this month, not spending on any gear, pickups, strings, etc... well... NOT!!! Thanks to Trivium!!!! (not sorry, not sorry at all!!!)
ESCAPE THE INTERNET TOUR 2025 - OLA ENGLUND / BERNTH / CHARLES BERTHOUD
Tickets for VIP and show -> bit.ly/3WBqCLE
If Charles puts on a wig, you're about to see some serious shit. Just a heads up. Haha
Add a spot in Montreal, QC, in Canada!
I swear it's a short plane ride!!!! 🙄
Thank you so much my friend! It’s an honor having you jam our plugins! Tack!!
They sound killer.
What are these amps based on?
Amazing plugins
@@constantinranis They allways work with the 5150 topology (5150, 6505, EVH...)
I love you guys!
Not long ago, a guitar players tone was a secret recipe so to speak. Great time to be a guitar player.
Sounds huge!! No messing around with option paralysis! Less tweaking, more playing!

They've used a variation of a 5150 on practically every album, I think WTDMS was a JSX, basically Peavey the whole way through
That third clap was majestic. Totally worth the effort and the wait.
Sounds pretty damn dope. I have always been a fan of Trivium's tone, so I might be just getting this today or later this week.
The beginning’s even funnier if you understand Swedish
Sounds sick af. Trivium has some of my favorite guitar tones
That intro demo was great, some of the best riffs and riff flow you've had in a while.
That lead plugin with the chorus and delay sounded awesome. Thx again for showing this Ola.

Trivium makes me want to binge eat Panda Express
This sounds amazing! I'd also love to see a Vogg amp sim if it doesn't already exist. That man has some of the nastiest guitar tones I've ever heard.
The already did the MLC, also ampknob. So who know?
Coffee with Matt Heafy! My two fav artists!
I really dig that lead plugin. Especially when Ola set it to a sort of classic rock/metal tone, that shit sounded gourmet.
Gotta love the one knob series. Inspiring tones that are ready to go.
Man, this plugin is amazing!!! Plug and play and have a killer tone!

Currently using the Amp Knob BDH 5169 and it's amazing so really excited to check these out 🔥

Love this has the bass knob. Always loved Paolo's tone.
Man I love when you do that riffs. You do it so well
Sooo many options these days but you can never go wrong with anything from Bogren! Plus Trivium rules!
Love what these guys put out, tried them all out so far (my favorite being the BDH III), gonna try these ones soon, probably a new contest coming? I hope so!
I really love theseamp plugins that are based off the line 6 spider! Excited!
What a beautiful guitar!! love that red
Big fan of the amp knobs. The BDH 5169 in particular is incredible IMO. Will have to check these out.

Now WE need ola englund archtype or ampknobs 😂
Neural Natas and Nameless. And Bias fx 2 metal pack has Ola amps altho they have removed his name since then.

The delay and chorus are more than a bonus, excellent ! I would have liked to hear more about the bass ... (with less gain !).
Love this! Great tones and tunes Ola! Killin and Chuggin it as usual!
- Bought me some Ola/Chug merchandise today. Can’t wait to get it!
🤘🤘
I’m still gonna stick with my good ol archetype Gojira for all guitar tones. I think these tones are a bit warm for my tastes
i downloaded it. super easy to use and heavy. love it
we are so blessed/saturated with good amp sims that i think you just pick one and stick with it.
Or two, sometimes its cool to pan one sim left and the other to the right
absolutely. I agree with this sentiment
Or three sometimes you need a different sound fer a center track
I use the ola setting on archetype fortin , "it sounds real" sound's really good
@@metalheadblues me too lol.
Brutal Chug! I like that tone!

i like how through the years you stick with the 6strings, back in the old days it was mainly sevens
These sound epic!!
Sheeesh, any endorsments Bogren ?
Yo guys does anyone know where the lick at 7:37 is from? Sick demo btw🤘
damn! that red X guitar. If I ever see a lefty version of that guitar, take my moneyyyy
I absolutely love all the 5150 plugins and mlc sub zero 100, I would love to see a jcm 800 type ampknob and imagine a pantera ampknob
This is my first time seeing Ola play bass and it reminds me of James Hetfield playing drums.
Sounds very impressive 🤘🏻🤘🏻and bass heavy is good as it’s always gonna chug for you on high gain Ola 😀that is so cool it covers all the bands sounds too

It sounded good until Ola went "ALL THE GAIN!!!!"
And what about Blob Audio? Will you be testing it?
Jeeez that 7:37 riff was naaaaaysty
The guitar looks fantastic 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Cool man! Need to try this out ASAP!
5:37 I need to tab this for study and learning
Randomly I have a sudden desire to see you learn and play Ozzy, No more tears
Love the part where he forgot his impulse was loaded and he was all into it … then switched back to the stock it was night and day.
awesome video, what do i need to be able to plug my guitar into my laptop like you did? i want to buy this :D
0:47 you're not slick u sly dog.. i hear Pantera Slaughtered in there 😈
They sound great as usual, but I think these single individual amp knobs are becoming silly... Why not just create one single plugin with all of these included for $100 or something...
I think the boost knob is based around the Evh 5150 channels
3:33 somehow in there I heard "Trip To The Brain" by ST.. anyone else? thumbs up. I love that Rocky George riff
This is good like Saturday morning breakfast 🥞

Hi, @OlaEnglund: wich of your own IRs are you using in this video? Is it the The One or wich one? Thanks!
What’s that’s first song? Sounds awesome!
Have you considered demo’ing Glenn Frikker’s extinction level event drums, element bass, and singularity bass?
Also, are your IR’s available?

52 Seconds of bass....
Rockman vibes
Does anyone know wich IR Ola is using at 5min15 please ? This sound Just huge !
If I use my fm3 as my interface can I use it for plugins as well. Thanks in advance.
Hey Ola, on your amp review try a old Line6 MkII hd100 tube head. They dont get the respect they deserve.
@OlaEnglund Hi, can you show us how to make good interface for guitar?
Hey Ola, do you sell your own IR you were (accidentally) using here?
what is the riff at 7:08
Plugins sound great, but rhytm sound is almost exactly the same as 66o6+ from BDH bundle.
How do active v passive pickups handle this simplified approach?
NGL probably gunna have to buy this asap lol
nice
Hey OLA, when you gonna sell a Solar Bass? Ha, my idea. LOL. Honestly, I need a Solar Bass VI with your pickup. I even have a design.
Did Pizza Hawaii take inspiration from Panama?
does anybody know the name of the intro riff?
where's Matt?
do you have that ir with less bass
Neural needs to add the 'Save' function to their X plug-ins.
What do you mean? Save function for making presets is literally in all their plugins.
If you turn off the power and boost do you get the IR?
Capturing these on my Nano Cortex Teehee
Like it
The amp knob we all have been waiting for..
”Aj FAAAAAAAN”, is relatable
