Haptic buttons are a pain, and is the only real criticism I have of it, and for the price I would have though it would have been a tad more user friendly. I think if I was spending that kind of money, I'd get the ID Buzz LWB Pro. I do love the styling though.
It’ll depend on how they package it here in Australia. From having a play around configuring a pro on the VW aus website there were several option boxes I ticked and then you’re suddenly up there on price anyway. If the GTX comes standard with most options the 20k premium might not look as rough
I actually like this van it looks cool .. The GTX would be the one i would buy i just have a bee in my bonnet about AWD vehicles they just feel safer on the road in my opinion !! Frankly if i could warrant the steep asking price ( we are talking Hyundai ioniq 5 N money for it ) i would pull the seats out the back and make it a cool fast camper !!
I like the look of the exterior... honestly, I'd like to see some of the chinese electric MPVs (other than that stupid LDV one) head out here. $110k is way too much for what VW is offering, with their bad plastics, crappy touch sensitive buttons and glitchy infotainment. Some of the Chinese vans are pretty gaudy though, but there's a few tidy ones. Power and range I'm not convinced by either
For 110k I'd want the van to come with a pair of Libyan nationalists and some classic Soviet weaponry. At least with the battery it's not as likely to roll over when we crash into a photo stand after chasing a Delorean.
I can’t believe VW doesn’t offer the exterior / interior options available in Europe. I like the mistral green / white exterior & same on the inside…… not available in Oz. Seriously. Price is $10-20k too much but enthusiasts will pay the money.
Mercedes sold a total of 11 EQV,s Australia wide in 2023. LDV sold 8 in the first half. For perspective Tesla sold 25,500. My point being that any vehicle comparable on price to an EQV would need to be something really extraordinary to sell as well and I suspect VW would not consider about a dozen sales a year as successful. I’m sure they will sell more than Mercedes but double or even triple is still less than 50.

You and me both. The LWB Pro is the pick if you really need third row space. Otherwise the shorty is a cutie.

Agree. You need to tick a lot of boxes to make the Buzz look like exceptional value. But then again, it’s still $50k cheaper than an EQV.

I like your style!
First comment! It’s insanely expensive which ever way you look at the value prop!
Come on - LDV has an electric van for $130k! And Mercedes EQV is $160k!!
Does (kind of) look like a classic combi.

Good points mate.
' The Chariot ' from Lost in Space ?
Lost on me.
I'd pay that ! It's a good looking vehicle IMO

I wish I knew what you were on about.
@@therightcaryou need to get yourself back to the future to understand the reference 😂

What’s about the small overlap crash test?
It got a five-star Euro NCAP rating, crashed fine.
No spare wheel option? I wonder why vw is not selling cars
You'd have to be weird different to buy that !
Hahahaha
Performance people mover? 😂😂😂
Take care passengers
Fun for some!
Why is nobody of you able to do a comparison between both wheelbases and different seating configurations?
We didn’t have them all there at the same time.
You make 2 videos about Volkswagen ID bus?
Yep. Different cars for different customers. And I had access and time to do it.
20k less for rwd.
I'm definitely weird and different!
Good for you! 🤟🏻
The price is ridiculous, no wonder VW are in trouble
You know LDV asks $130k for its electric people mover. And Mercedes asks $160k for its EQV.
OMG!

Another Buzz that will sit in showrooms around Australia with nowhere to go 😢
It's a niche product, and there will be a cohort with deep enough pockets that will grab one..
Great electric vehicle
I love the look of it, but wouldn't buy an EV. And it's pricey.
Fingers crossed for a diesel V6 take on it 😂😂😂
To summarize the ID Buzz: overpriced, disappointing range, fuzzy logic infotainment system and lots of cheap plastic. No thanks!
That’s your take!
