Well now, partner, reckon you’ll want to set aside the whole day for this here adventure. At the bare minimum, you’re lookin’ at 'bout 7 hours from start to finish. That’s 'cause you’ll be ridin’ in the saddle for a good two-and-a-half hours just gettin' to and from the canyon. That leaves ya with a solid 4 hours to mosey around the rim, takin’ in every grand view this ol’ video of mine showcased. But let me tell ya, if your stomach starts growlin’ like a grizzly in spring, you might want to consider stoppin’ for a meal at one of them fine canyon restaurants. Word to the wise: think about bookin' a reservation ahead of time, 'cause them places can fill up quicker than a waterin’ hole in the desert. And if you’re plannin' on stickin’ around for sunset, well partner, you might as well settle in for a longer haul-'cause watchin' that sun dip below the canyon rim is somethin’ you don’t want to miss! It’ll add some extra time to your day, but trust me, it’s worth every minute.
