Respect ! That was not easy. Thanks for sharing and that's made my mind up I'm not going to try and repair my keys myself even though I'm an IT engineer 😂
Thank you for this video learned a lot 🙏 but is there a way to open it without braking it? Mine work perfectly but working on a small project and want to remove the key fron the remote and 3D print a case for the key. The idea behind it is that I can keep the remote attached to me without taking it of and use the key that I’ll hide inside the car to turn it on or even put it inside my other 3D printed key Swiss holder with a magnet that will hold it in place Now here is m other question: can the car turn on with just the physical key or I need to install next to it the micro controller the one you used the solder to remove?
@@TheCarKeyMan thank you for you reply truly appreciate it 🙏 So if I understand correctly the ship should stay in the case but I can install the physical key on a custom 3D printed handle and the car will start right? Another question: if I make this custom handle for the physical key can I add a magnet inside of it? Because I was planning on making a custom box for the physical key and the key just slide in it and get held in with magnet… I’m afraid it might cause some sort on interference with the car what do you think? What would you suggest I do?
can't locate a new case to fit the key as the hole was small. any idea how i can find a suitable case to take the old blade? appreciated

Hi
The problem you’ll have is as follows. The car will not start unless it has the chip near it.
The chip is inside the case

Nice and quick fix. I hope the KIA logo sticker was transplanted as well. If not, the customer would not be satisfied...
No logo swapped, but compared to a new key with a logo, the customer was more than happy
Es normal que tenga mucho movimiento la llave que se introduce
Thanks !!!
