i spent two weeks in a mental hospital and they let us put on music during these group therapy activities and this one girl would always put on falling in reverse and im 99% sure that prolonged my stay.

Scorching Take: Most scene bands from that era were always butt rock/metal (It goes beyond Nu Metal and Post Grunge, and they were mocked by metalheads when they first came out). You just took off the rose-tinted glasses and discovered better artists mostly Djent/Progressive Metalcore and this is coming a person who likes this as a guilty pleasure.

I used to work at a music magazine a few years ago, they put him on the cover with limited edition signed prints. Like, we make prints, send them to the label or pr, the artist signs it, they send it to the us and the distributor so it goes in the magazine. Sounds easy, except mr Ronald was being too much of a diva and just didn't feel like doing it so his label made brand new prints with the signature already on them and sent them back to us. We were about to ship out fake signed prints until one of our guys noticed like "hey doesn't it look kinda matte to you guys?". So yeah, he's an absolute ass, no idea why the label keeps up with him. They made him sit down and force him to sign the prints and sent us photos as proof so they wouldn't have a breach of contract, but man, what a clown. Putting him on the cover was already a risky move (he was already in the controversial zone, but not as much as now, I believe) but that's also when they decided to just not put him on the cover again.

I saw Falling in Reverse at warped tour before I knew who they were. Ronald was without a doubt the douchiest performer of the day. He refused to play the next song until everyone sat down on the muddy grass. Made a whole scene about it. My friend I came with was like “if I ever run into that guy it’s on site”
I saw them at warped tour and he made everyone get down on one knee and jump up, and when he began the song (situations which was the one middle school nostalgia bait for me) he wanted us to jump up at a specific time but the crowd missed the beat. And he got so mad he made everyone start the song over again and was berating the crowd

Ronnie has been a giant zit on the metalcore scene for YEARS now (my favorite genre). Its funny seeing his bull shit make it over to your attention.... Being so deep in the genre I'm so use to his BS, I forgot how crazy it sounds to people from outside the fandom..... BUT - Dying Is Your Latest Fashion is a fucking metalcore classic, I will never give that up. But just because he had one good album that he made back in the early 2000's doesn't excuse him now....

The straw that broke the camel's back for me was when Ronnie tried to start beef with I Prevail (one of my favorite metalcore bands) because they made a "reimagined" version of one of their songs, around the same time that FIR made a "reimagined" song too. Fortunately, I Prevail didn't give him the response he wanted, so he gave up.

Yeah…I wish modern metal wasn’t so fucked, there are some incredible new metal bands that get grouped up with shit like FiR bc there isn’t a genre tag for the new line of “Metal”
He's also the reason why a lot of Metalcore/Post Hardcore get a bad rep (Kellin Quinn as an honourable mention for most of the clean singing in both subgenres)

I knew a guy who was the worlds biggest Falling In Reverse Fan and would sit there and try to make me listen to all their songs and i cannot emphasize enough the sheer relief I felt when his playlist would play imagine dragons or fallout boy instead. Never thought I would consider imagine dragons a better band but here we are.
