Just a tiny observation: while you had the air cleaner off, it’s wise t check the dash pot damping, and top the oil up. Looks in superb condition, always loved the MM, my parents both had split screen minors.
Soooo jealous,I want a 2 door Minor, lowered and sitting on minilites I'm gonna share this video on my twitter account,I follow a few that would find it interesting Great vlog 👌
Coolant level is always checked. Gearbox, rear axle, brake fluid have all been changed by previous owner. Got lots of service records. Will be done when needed.
May I also recommend as part of the service, to check the condition of the radiator coolant. If you have a service manual it will give you the ratios for anti freeze and water to fill the system. Also be aware of the modern OAT (Organic acid technology ) anti freeze. This type is not suitable for the minor 's engine block, cylinder head and gasket. You can still purchase 'Bluecol' Anti freeze. The coolant in time will look rusty and discoloured, and should be changed irrespective if you use your car or not. There are also a number of good films on u tube, that show other ways to check if the coolant requires changing. Not forgetting condition of all coolant hoses, clips and the good old radiator cap seal. Thanks for sharing.👍
