Today im taking a look at the new Nike Calm Slide which has a lot in common with the Yeezy slide. The Nike Calm Slide is releasing July 14th in a few earth toned colour ways and has already made an impressed on people for having a familiar look. The Nike slide has a foam material with an outsole and comes in a cardboard box, it also retails for less than a Yeezy slide at $50. I go over the similarities and compare these to a pair of Yeezy slides to find out if this new Nike slide is really worth it.

Personally I’ve tried the Nike calm slides and I think that after a while the Yeezy slide makes your feet hurt after a while bc they’re so soft that when you walk it reflects the grounds hardness. I think the Yeezy slides are amazing but only as a home slipper while the Nike slides are better to wear outside.
Perfect W accurate take. Agreed. The Yeezy slides are almost TOO soft and you feel like you're going to roll your ankle in them. The calms are soft yet also more solid and very durable tread and sole. Give me the calms any day.

Nike made their own design that is not just comfortable but engineered for daily use. The design is well thought. Though my only concern about my calm slide is that the strap tends to be very tight that I can't fully put on my feet with socks on

Bought a pair of these Nike slides and they are pretty comfy and for a great price let alone the resellers haven’t gotten them yet so grab while you can

I like the Jordan Post Slide coz they are the design of the big comfy yeezy slides but just the right of designing. I love it and bought it at retail. Not sure if I should have paid retail as they don't seem to be to selling out 😂
Plus I believe the New Balance fresh Foam based slides will be the softest but can't get them in India. Although I feel jordan post slides are just as comfy as yeezy slides...

Yeezy slide is a minimalistic design unlike nike bombarded with swoosh another bootleg of slide
Many brands in India have made cheap similar designs, nobody has the rights reserved for such designs I hope ,same with car companies,one makes similar design to others but with a few tweaks in design, doesn't mean that others will stop making just because one started first.
How is the sizing in the calm slides ?

I mean as far as we know, there wont be anymore Yeezy slides, so it was a good timing and a good option at the moment. These are on the app in EU but women sizes only, up till 6-7UK.
Everyone saying these copied Yeezy is crazy!! A little close looking? YES. Copied? NO. And about the colors just so you know there have been Black, white or tan slides around for awhile. Just the strap mold looking like it was attached separately makes it look different. Even Yeezy's were copied from other styles.

I have a pair of yeezys and calm slides. Overall, I prefer the calm slides. Though the yeezys are more cushiony, the calm slides are more roomy for my feet. Yeezys are too narrow for my liking. My socks bunch up every time i slide them on. Like I said though, they’re very cushiony so I still like wearing them. Have to wear the yeezy slides with socks tho bc of blisters.

Because of the inconsistency of the sizing and how much you end up paying to get a pair to fit your feet properly. That’s why.. yzy slides are king but they’re a pain in the ass to get. These look similar to them and I only like how yzy slides look. So I hope these calm slides are almost as comfy as yzys

Does anyone have a solid answer on what size to go with on Yeezy slides? I wear a size 9.5 in 380s but my 350 V2 CMPTs are 9. I hate when shoes are too big so I am worried about going with a size 10 but I do have a slightly wider foot. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks

Bruh idc what anyone says about them being rip offs to Yeezys. If they’re comfy I’m grabbin em. As much as I love ye and his footwear you end up paying a arm and a leg to get a pair of slides (and some other models) to fit. I spent 600 dollars trying to get a pair of onyx slides to fit me properly. every time you order a size of yzy slides you’re rolling dice and they end up costing the price of designer footwear if you’re unlucky with the sizing. I got a size 13 assuming they will be made from China (fit smaller) because of the last release, and they were made in India I ended up swimming in them. Then I ordered 12 and they were made from China. Two pairs, two different sizes that both don’t fit.
So keep hating so these shits stay cheap!
