. Today I’m taking a look at the huge amount of fake Yeezy Slides that are out there… there’s a lot more than i anticipated. Fake Yeezy Slides seem to be one of the most replicated Yeezy Shoes out right now.
This video is just for entertainment, i advocate for everyone to wear whatever they want however this video is not intended to promote these products. I don’t endorse fake/replicas and wont be providing links for any of the slides you see in this video.
The real vs fake conversation is a much bigger topic that I’d like to fully flesh out in a future video so please feel free to leave your thoughts down in the comments!

Kanye said that at the factory these took literally 15 min to make and that he wanted these to be retailed at $20. But marketing cost money and profit is always the main goal so there goes the price point.

Love your channel man - keep up the good work! Would you ever consider dropping a size comparison video on the Yeezy’s? How each one (slides, Foamrunners, 350’s, 700’s etc) compares to your true to size and compared to Nike & Ultraboost sizing. Never sure if I should go half size or full size up! Heard FR’s are best TTS? Can get confusing so would love your take on it

Disclaimer, im playing devils advocate here and i dont own either a real or not real yeezy slide. The reason they are 10-15 quid is because the price of 'real' yeezy sliders are ridiculously inflated for what they are, as is with most 'limited' shoes. I wouldn't say any of the sliders you showed were fake either as they aren't branded with adidas, they are just using the same concept. Its like calling every pair of straight leg jeans that aren't Levi 501s, fake Levis. Na they are just jeans. Imitation would be a better term to use as fake implies that they are counterfeit goods and anyone buying from those sources is somewhat partaking in criminal activity. Just my 2 cents
There’s plenty of accounts of companies suing for trademark infringement upon sneakers, Nike John Geiger, Yeezy vs Walmart for the foam runners just to name the recent ones, in both cases neither had the branding of Nike or Adidas on their products.
@@elliotpage_ I understand that there is loads of suing going on for trademark infringement at the moment, a number of them are against customizers. Im not 100% up on trademark law but I'm not sure you can trademark a silhouette, which is why in my comment I said imitation would be a better term to use rather than calling them fake. Other wise why companies can sue for the shape of anything at all, t-shirts, jeans, socks, footballs etc etc. Again, im not supporting the trade of imitation or replicas, just putting out a different view point

Jeans are incomparable to yeezy slides and I don't know why you would think to compare something so common to a shoe that is very unique and distinguishable. When you see a yeezy slide you instantly know its yeezy because its unlike other shoes in the market and has a distinct design. For straight jeans you'd have to catch the logo to really tell if they're levi's or not unless you're some special levi detective so it's much easier to call out other slides for copying yeezys than it is for levis
Either way im still pro fakes because there's no way I can afford to get resell or even retail price yeezys
There's a lot so say about fakes.. But can you fault people, the prices of the slides are around the 100 for every color, that's just a lot so I get that people buy fakes, they don't mind that the material is a bit (or a huge bit) off. And I see a lot of kids asking for fakes from there parents
I've heard if you just use a hair dryer / blow dryer it takes away the creases.

you know, there are really badly made replica slides, but what does that tell you about the market? the shoe game isn't what it used to be. I can't afford the HEFTY resale price tag on any hype shoe. Realistically, if I've bought a pair of retail yeezys and compared them to the "UA" yeezy and to be quite honest, its a hit or miss on the shoes. it really depends on the UA seller and their QC (quality control) process, but resellers are killing the market, that's why we have the UA market bc of over pricing and price gouging from the resellers. If I win in a raffle and am able to purchase at a "retail" price, then great for me, but if not and I really want the shoe, then I'll go to my UA plug and get what I couldn't get for retail price. UA's are 9/10 spot on from my UA plug that is and I get them for cheaper. So yeah, reseller r killing the shoe game.
Lool there is so many fakes because they're so easy to make. It's literally one piece of foam moulded. They probably cost like 12cent to make, Yeezy sells them for 50$ and resale for 100-200$... Probably the easiest fake to replicate ever!

If Kanye/Adidas have a problem with companies ripping them off, they should just produce more to meet demand. Right now, the only people these knock off producers are ripping off are the resellers. Most people buying knock off Yeezy Slides would rather be wearing the real thing but can't find them at retail and aren't willing to pay resale prices. Heck, even Adidas is being accused by Kanye of ripping him off with the Adilette. Talk about ironic.

Seriously, I have no problem with fakes. I agree that paying major amounts of money for a shoe is ridiculous, but selling fakes is a felony. It's stolen work that was ripped off and is taking the profit from the companies that make them.
If the companies wanted to kill the replica market, they could. All they have to do is produce more shoes to meet demand, but they'll never do it.

If the market was not inflated with the SneakerHead stock market Resellers, less fakes would exist but when folks buy out an entire shoe line to walk around in a Aston Martin then of course side hustles will be invented. For some things Fakes are a good value but upsetting for those that end up with fake sneakers in which the ony thing that checks out is the box.
foam slides were always a thing they alwasy costed around 20 $ and the yeezy brand is the one that stole the idea and made a wayyy more costly knockoff the cost of producing a yeezy slide is prolly like 10$
