The whole thing kind of fell flat for me in the Anime when compared to how it was played up in the light novel.

Danmachi Season 2 wasn't AS good as Season 1 imo, but I still loved it and the world/character developments we got. Just wish we got more core story development that was seemingly being set up and more with the Dungeon.
Yeah it felt like S2 was more fan service. But I do get that Istar is basically a thot god and that they had the setting of a prostitution part of the city. I wanted more action or lore about Freya.

Eina does have a side story in Light Novel 8 that seems to make her feelings clearer on that too. Bell has to escort her home over a period of time because she feels like she has a stalker.... Turns out to be some gods trolling their familia members that were pining after Eina (the two “stalkers” were once advised by Eina). Nothing much comes of it, but Eina started looking forward to the time alone with Bell... and that speaks volumes!
