Thinking about Aldama's season I have noticed that he was probably willing to spend some minutes at SF but the team needs were him playing inside so despite working his muscle his summer training didn't pay off. That's why it is so important to know what he will work on this next summer
Santi is solid. He provides a lot, he has improve in every stat from past season. He made a step forward in this convoluted season. Getting rid of him would be a mistake.
Scottie pippen jr has potential to be better thn Tyus. He is more athletic and seemingly a better scorer. Also, Tyus routinely disappears in the playoffs
@@ConorMeehan-yw6wowell l feel like you need 10-15 from tyus in the playoffs especially when you’re running 8 man rotations and it was common for him to struggle with scoring but yes he was primarily there for playmaking
@@ConorMeehan-yw6wopippen projects as better overall. He’s better offensively and defensively. The only argument is that tyus runs a team better, but that’s left to be seen because Scottie could very well be a great offensive controller, time will tell
I’d deal smart to Milwaukee for players and the 25 first unprotected they are very apt to fall off like we did this year. And there are really good pics in 25. Vince Williams does what smart does.
I think you’re putting too much expectations on Santi, what you’re saying is 100% true he did leave a lot of meat on the bone. But he’s best as a role player, meaning he plays better as a role player & not a starter. Now I think GG is going to start next yr at the 3 & Marcus smart is going to be a 6th man. Meaning he’s not going to start but play heavy minutes. Smart is going to be the backup PG/SF Meaning he’s going to come in for Ja & GG, kinda how the lakers used Lamar Odom during Kobe back 2 back championship run, lamar came off the bench for either Odom & Bynum. Sometimes it was lamar at the 4 Gasol at the 5, or lamar at the 4 Bynum at the 5. Listening to Taylor press conference he wants GG to earn the starting 3, & he’s going to challenge him this summer. He wants him to become a better defender, & get after it on defense, & he wants him to become a better playmaker. That being said I think the odd man out of the rotation is actually Brandon Clarke, especially if the Grizzlies get a C someone like Nic Claxton a defensive anchor type big man, because at that point what’s the point in keeping Brandon Clarke, he’s not an asset of need. As you said the Grizzlies need shooting & versatility
Naw the Grizzlies injuries literally started before the season with 3 surprising injuries with Aldama,Kannnard, and Adams. Not to mention Rose and Smart was limited in the preseason because of minor injuries. Tyus being back make a lot of sense if he will take the money. Pippen is good but may be overrated because of the situation. Remember he was on the open market last year.
Konchar and Z Will both have larger contracts, so I would move them before moving Aldama

Facts smart is of no use to the team when we already have GG vince laravia, much better to trade him rather than not keep kennard
Without all that screaming 😂

We Need to re-sign kennard all cost top 3 shooter in the league
If we aren’t willing to play $25 million in luxury tax, then a championship is unlikely
Dalton....best scorer in draft
Overrated. And imma vols fan
I’d take cam reddish for santi in a instant
