Man I can't imagine how shitty Vince feels right now. Even seeing the injury notification yesterday sucked. On the bright side, Jake is fully willing to tackle any assignment the Grizz throw at him.
Did you ever consider that some players might be getting injured because the pace is too fast. I also think that this mindset feeds into a higher turnover rate. Memphis needs to find the balance between playing fast and playing under control. Playing fast just for the sake of playing fast is not a good strategy.
We have discussed that possibility before. Doesn't explain the injury issues from last year, though. Plus Williams and Edey got hurt going for rebounds. Soft tissue injuries maybe, not ankle sprains you can get in pickup - JM
The pace is too fast, i agree. The way the grizzlies get buckets with their drives from the 3pt line is not sustainable and not smart. Plus the defense where they camp inside the 3pt line and close out ALL the time. It's wrecking their bodies. It's definitely causing the injuries.
Definitely, i hate this analytics style basketball. We can shoot some mid range, we can shoot some floaters. Bane doesnt have to throw his body to the floor for a layup all the time. Man it sucks
The injury talk from you physical therapists is crazy. A majority of the injuries are NOT soft tissue. Expecting the Grizz front office to hire somebody to stop spraining ankles is craazy lol
Too early/too many injuries to really judge this team. Grizzlies have only played 3-4 games against good teams (Warriors, Lakers with AD + Bron healthy, Magic, and Rockets) and lost 3 of them. How much do we trust the early data if 75% of our games have been against bad teams?
Vince looked really terrible when he came back. He's gained some weight and it looked like he hadn't played basketball in years lol.. wishing him a speedy recovery tho
@@carsongraef8716 nah nah nah mane. We gone be positive. One thing I'll say, even tho he was fat, he was hustling his a** off. Plus we need him to take some of smarts minutes lol
We will be waiting for you Vince!

@@LockedonGrizzlies it's not last year anymore Joe
Taylor is not the one missing open shots. But, he could call for more mid range shots.

Literally sue the trainers if they aren’t loosening those ligaments every second players aren’t on the floor
Do the memphis grizzlies have a bad training staff to have this many every year
ahh yes my favorite grizzlies podcast 💯 shout out to mulli and dcole 💯
Joe with the HOV reference 🔥🫡

Playing fast seems to be lazy coaching. I rather see solid execution with a good past and use fast pace as an option
For sure, its uncreative. Not sustainable

A lot of the early losses was Jenkins messing with rotations and minutes. We are now starting to see some consistency
We also didn’t have ja and we beat the magic and lakers with him but lost against the rockets with him I believe
I like smart on lavine and Scotty on the pg
Do these guys actually wear high tops and proper ankle braces? Or am I too old school?
I guarantee the Grizzlies players are not stretching rn as we speak.. I wonder who goes down next

he did look bigger. Probably wasn’t allowed to do much cardio wise and that’s why
@carsongraef8716 that makes sense. Wonder will he come back even bigger lol
@@ek1743 listening to them say he was rehabbing for 8 months just to get hurt again i’m thinking this is a lost year for him sadly

They need to stretch these Grizz past the normal hyperextension angle.. Yoga Grizz are the only way
