I have a 140 H3 with 3 levers. Can you use both front ports and the rear with a 318? Do they make a 318 with 3 levers?

318 is just two circuit, so unlike the 140, one of the front circuit also operates the rock shaft and deck or rear attachment if you have a 3 point hitch. Whereas on the 140, one lever is for the left side front circuit, one lever for the right side circuit and one lever operates the rock shaft. I hope that helps. In order to get an H-3 during that time period, you'd have to have a 420 or 430. You can put a similar kit on the 140, , but it would likely use one of the front circuits, that way you could still have independence between the rock shaft and rear kit. Thanks for watching.

Can this be done on a 316? Looking to get line to the rear for operation with an implement. Thanks!

You could do it on a 316 with a Kohler motor, as in the earlier 300 series, but the 316 that uses the same platform here, as in open frame, later 300 series not without some serious modification. The 316 with the Onan has a H-1, one hydraulic circuit in which the circuit is alreadu used for the front port AND the 3 point hitch and/or deck. So there's really not a great way to add a rear kit unless you add an H-2 kit to the machine...which could be done rather easily if you have a donor tractor. What year is your 316? Thanks for watching.

@@FloridaDeere so my 316 is an onan, I have a 3pt on and I’m trying to run hydraulic ports to the rear to accommodate a corn planter build I’m starting. I know I can swap from deck/3pt and then the front port, I wonder if I can lock out the fronts and run lines to the rear yet instead with one lever. Won’t need 3pt access during planting since it’s a drop pin hitch and has zero need for vertical movement.

@@boondockoutdoors623 Yeah, so I don't think you'll need to lock out the front if nothing is hooked up and you'd need a shut off valve for the 3 point cylinder and then I guess you could use the rear kit. You might want to reach out to Ron at Auxiliary Hydraulics and see if his shut off valve could work in that scenario.

I belive the 318 is close to the same as the 420

Yes the 300 series and 400 series have interchangeable rear attachments, so they should have generally the same rear kit, except maybe length of hoses, but actually they may be the same as well, not sure. Thanks for watching.
