Veronica, thank you for this video. I’m taking Security+ next week, and I’m thinking next will be AZ 500. I’m looking to find a job field that I can work remotely, from anywhere I want to live. Do you think that it’s possible in cloud security?
Hey🌸, Absolutely! Cloud security is a rapidly growing field and many companies are embracing remote work options. With the right skills and experience, you can definitely find a remote job in cloud security.
I’m studying cyber security analyst but I’m also intrigued with cloud security more now😅 would you recommend I finish studying cybersecurity analyst to get into cloud security? Or just completely jump into cloud security?
Hey! It depends where you are in your study journey right now? Security + will still be a great benefit as well as some of the analysis skills. Then you can branch out into cloud security.
Hey 🌸 Cloud security is part of Cyber security and you can get many different role options in each. I think it just depends on what you are interested in.
Not to be confused with Cisco Certified Security Professional which is not the same as the Certified Cloud Security Professional. They are 2 different things.
How about the Microsoft SC 200? Also, is there any order for those certificates to begin with? like which ones to start with to land our first role in cloud security? Thank you
The Microsoft SC-200 is a great choice for diving into cloud security! For certification order, starting with fundamentals like Azure Fundamentals can help, and then you can move on to more specialized certificates like the SC-200. Hey, i work as performance tester for 6 years now in IT segment and im planning to switch to cyber security domain. I have good rewarding job yet i couldnt picture myaelf improving further and hence the switch. Can you tell me or put a simple road map and duration it would take to get into a job ... Please
Transitioning from performance testing to cyber security is a great choice for growth! I recommend starting with some foundational certifications like CompTIA Security+ and then moving on to more specialized ones based on your interests. Have you subscribed to my newsletter? I share alot of resources in there on how you can transition into this field.
Hi. Every time I see your video, I get so eager and fun. My college degree is a mixture of Technology and Life science, but I like to start my career in cloud. Where should I start? Can you help me?
Thank you for your kind words! It's great to know my videos spark that eagerness in you. Check out my UA-cam video Cloud Security Roadmap ua-cam.com/video/rXe-VVNvOtI/v-deo.html. You could also check out the Cybersecurity Besties Community: www.skool.com/cyberqueen/about. Good luck
Hi Veronica. I am almost done with my Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate. Note that I am trying to break into an entry level role. If I want to specialize in the cloud what cert would you advise that I pursue next. I had in mind either the Microsoft Cybersecurity Analyst Professional Certificate or the IBM Cybersecurity Analyst Professional Certificate. Should I do one of these and if so which. If not what next if I want to go straight for the cloud on an accelerated pathway. I am a bit overwhelmed with all the information so any guidance would be hugely appreciated. Thanks
Hello! I have a question. I am almost finished with the Google Cybersecurity program. However, I recently discovered that Microsoft also offers a cybersecurity certificate program that includes cloud security and an exam. So, I have decided to enroll in it as well. I am wondering if I should switch to the Microsoft Azure program instead. I am feeling overwhelmed with all the information I have received so far. Can you please advise me on this matter?
Hey! Great question, If you are almost through the google cert, I would definitely keep going and complete that one. Once done, you dont have to complete the Microsoft course on Coursera, since it actually covers similar content, I would then go to MS learn and start with the SC-900 content on there. I hope that helps.
Thank you for your help @cyber.queen. I am committed to successfully completing the final module of my training. Since I already paid the money, I might as well learn the cloud infrastructure, too.@@cyber.queen_
Cloud security and cloud engineering are related but different aspects of cloud computing. Security focuses on protecting data and resources, while engineering involves designing and implementing cloud systems.

Hi @cyber Queen great content what do u thing about the CompTIA Cloud+ cert - thanks for you feedback
Hey🌸, tbh I think there are better options, like the ones I listed in this video.

@@cyber.queen_ thank you for your help! I appreciate your input! I will do that for sure☺️ and I was wondering do you mentor students?
What's your thought about one being a multi cloud security engineer? Heard it's the present way to go.
Great video by the way🎉
Thank you! I think multi cloud is great. I would suggest you start with one, get some experience then branch out.
How do you choose which vendor to go for? I’m currently going the AWS route but wondering Azure would also be good
Hey, it all depends on your interests, I would also look at the opportunities available n your area and the demand where you live.
For a beginner that is considering between cybersecurity and cloud security what speciality will you recommend to pursue ? Thanks for your response

thank you for this, Iam only wondering why CCNA wasn't in your list especially seeing that its a prerequisite for the CCSP....why please?
Hey, this is specifically for cloud. CCNA is not a prerequisite for CCSP.

Again, it’s an AWSome video. … I’m currently being asked to look into Cloud Security, instead of just cloud. 🙃🍷📚
You definitely cant go wrong with cloud security! Thank you for watching and for your kind feedback 😊
The CCSK hasn’t been beneficial on my resume at all…
Interesting, I think it’s such a beneficial cert for so many people.

Hey🌸 If you are targeting the Cloud, then the Microsoft SC-200 is a great option. Also build some cloud skills in parallel.
