- Yikes!!!! There legit was a 6.4 earthquake that shook Hollywood!!! It wasn’t something anyone expected but thankfully everyone is safe. What a day of ups and downs. The ride legitimately opened up on July 4th for like 5 minutes and people got to ride Jurassic World The Ride.

Idk if anyone knows yet but the Jurassic world ride soft opened yesterday around 7pm. That was why universal studios had a special event for the 4th when they normally don’t, because the special event was the ride soft opening.
The reason I know it is open is because the theme park shark posted a video of the whole ride yesterday and it soft opening that day too!

Ben Simpson I agree the new stuff like the beginning and the predator cove and inside were very Cooly designed but it lacks dinosaurs
It really did. The old Jurassic Park Ride was must better, even though the animatronics were dated
If they put a Dino in predator cove and when Chris Pratt is talking it would be better than jp the scenes with new Dino's are awesome like when the dilo is on the tree awesome when blue moves around awesome the design is very well made but they could have removed all jp ride parts like stegosaurus
Yeah and maybe extended the track a bit. It just looked to plain
Maybe they invested 3/4 of the budget for the mosasaurus part and honestly that part is very cool. I agree the rest is not so much tho.

I was in the line in the Hogwarts Ride and then I felt shaking, weak shaking, it was the 7.1 earthquake. They closed the ride, when I got out, they started the lights
I’m glad everyone was ok and nothing bad happened. Super scary moment
Everybody was like, what happened? I saw someone looking at earthquake information. Staff came in and said that they just felt an earthquake and whoever wants to leave, leave now, and the ride is closed temporarily. I left and bought a Dumbledore wand from Olivanders and everybody was like, "Movin' on. Nothing bad happening here."
My two sons were waiting for the ride too, on 4 July. They didn’t feel the shake and stayed inside, when the ride opened again. I felt the shake though as I was sitting outside. Very strange sensation. Thought I was having a funny turn lol. We all felt the second shake next evening.
The reason why Potter people were not on it’s because Potter people are not allowed to leave the Potter area as long as they’re in uniform. Many had to change to their regular clothes before getting on.

When I went to ride this ride I hated the front seats like I sat in the front, then when there was the drop and as soon we hitted the water, water just came in and wetted my shoes my phone camera fanny pack and I accidentally stood up and almost fell out which was stupid. And, the most important thing that hot wet was my bandages, after that ride I fell 3 times and I was miserable for the rest of my trip of Universal, and Disneyland
Looks like the earthquake attraction at the tram ride decided to turn into the real thing. Lucky there was no real damage in the theme parks at Disney or Universal. I wonder if it was felt in Lego Land.

@@FIVEFIRES I was there this past May and I felt nothing when I was in Universal Studios. Thank goodness I decided summer is not the best time to visit any famous theme parks.

ride needs a work, no fight scene
My sons were inside waiting for the Harry Potter ride whilst my husband and I waited outside. We were sitting on the stone seat when I felt It was moving. I stood up and felt I was bobbing.i panicked as I suffer with vertigo, and thought I was having a funny turn, lol, so when I heard there’d been an earthquake, I was so relieved 😅 Felt the second one the next evening too. Quite exciting to experience one and on holiday too 🤪

The delay is the whole scene that's playing and they kind of stalled a second longer before the drop. I know you'll get a better video!! Can't wait!! Sit in the front! Lol

It is soft open for employees and VIP access members (I was there the 4th) and was told that it was only employees and VIP access for yesterday and today.

(I was asleep) My Aunt and my mom was sitting on the couch and talking and my sister was awake to and then at first they didn’t notice and my aunt was feeling nauseous then the plants in our house started shaking then my aunt told my mom it was an earthquake my mom baby in hand ran to my room and told me to put my shoes on I woke up feeling kinda sick the earthquake stopped when I was walking to the living room and every one was talking about it😂
