It's difficult to imagine how hard it must have been for the 2 of them possibly injured when the plane crashed and assume one person might have died immediately after crashing? .I have always respected their courage to be 1st.

I followed Tighar for years hoping they would find pieces of the Lockheed Electra. They found nothing. I was very hopeful when Bob Ballard joined the search. He also found nothing. When deep sea vision got that sonar scan, I became very curious. It's obviously something man made. I thought it was an obvious aircraft. Who's aircraft ?....... is the question. For the next 5 months I watched all of Tony Romeo's and Ric Gillespie's interviews going back and forth. Now that I've seen your video, I am questioning whether it's a plane or an anchor. I would need to know the size and scale to rule out whether it's an old school anchor because those were not 20 feet long like cruise ship's and aircraft carriers' anchors today. And it's the exact design shape of an old-school anchor. The latest anchors that size look entirely different. I like that Tony is being realistic by saying he doesn't know what this is yet. But this needs a closer look to make that determination.
Items found were easily Amelia's. So they landed or swam to island. And there were bones. Hope they solve it all. Should invite Titanic James Cameron (resources & experience).
I ❤ Amelia Ehrhart and I would love for this news to be correct but they are only going to find the plain . Unless the remains are still in the actual aircraft when it crashed. In theory it does make sense.?
This is some sketchy science on the radio. The transmissions did not line up very well with the tide. And him thinking that the water got high enough to get to the radio which is what stopped the signals. How about this, if he is correct about running the engine to provide power to the radio, they ran out of fuel? I mean they were going to stop on Howland island to refuel. So they would not have had much left. This seems much more plausible then the water finally got so high it got to the radio.
