I watched the Final Table on Netflix and yeah, I was definitely crushing on Charles the entire time. I was heartbroken when he and Rodrigo weren't chosen for the finale. I loved how Charles combined cooking with arts. He is an extraordinary storyteller. He's also a good looking guy, which is a plus. I don't know how old is he but he looked really young. And the hair, I loved it.

OMG I just finished binge watching The Final Table and I’m so happy that I’m not the only one crushing on him! Anyway, I follow Charles on Instagram and I found out that he’s 37 now. He celebrated his birthday back in April and did a whole post about it.

I was rooting for you guys all the way. You guys were the most interesting team on the show - apart from Mark and Shane who just have so much experience. You guys will do great things and can't wait to see what you'll continue creating. All the best! Saludos!

You should’ve won!!! They gave it to Timothy? An American that was carried and so one dimensional?!!! The American Grant Achatz,, known for pushing boundaries when it comes to food, the helium balloons especially, was lobbying for another American that played it safe and showed little artistic abilities especially in the finale won? It seems rigged, you should’ve won or at least been in the final 4.

Gracias :)

Without a doubt, my favorite chef couple on the show. You showed real art in a food dish. It was poetic how you presented each dish. Bravisimo

I was impressed by this pair from the get go. Their concepts, approaches, philosophies, creativity..I could go on and on... but they were the true risk takers throughout the competition, pushing boundaries and thinking outside the box. They cooked against the grain and I always end up being surprised at their final dish. Also allowed me to view food and cooking in a different perspective.

I really loved and appreciated both your intelligent, grounded and heart centred approach to food. Your message is so needed right now respecting the Earth and abundance of what nature gives us, how we dnce with tihs relationship through our own senses to become more alive. Thank you. i thought your more wider perspectives also was (probably challenging to other judges and chefs) about the histories of a food and it's ingerdients like the gold locusts or Thanks Giving Dinner which has it's roots in Indeginous Peoples of Americas...bravo and Namaste

I should say that I truly loved to see how you two work. To be honest, you truly remind me of myself because of the way in which you always try to build a certain story and poetry with the things you cook. The first time I saw you and Rodrigo cooking I was truly amazed by how you think about the meaning of each element on the plate.
I just wanted to say that I really loved how you told the story of feijoada by the execution of your plate. I'm from Brazil, and I think you should know that I couldn't be happier with an interpretation of one of my favorite cuisines here in the country I live.
You are truly amazing. Keep being this amazing person and chef. I love your creativity and your sensitivity.
I hope the best for you two :D

Hopefully the world will see more of you. Cheers from Montréal

You are so inspiring to me. I am halfway through Final Table, but since the first episode I thought you were the best! You are not only extremely talented, you are humble too and you know a lot about the history and the roots of the dishes and you incorporate it in your cooking, while at the same time thinking sustainable!! And you are a food scientist AND an artist! It just blows my mind! Since recent years I have been wanting to be a food scientist. I cheer Chef Rodrigo and you. You have a brilliant future in front of you. My dream now is to be able one day go to your restaurant.

This guy shud have won. And I am Canadian! The show was so freaking biased for an American to win because it was filmed in America and he made the most boring dish that he has made multiple times before and took absolutely no risk he was probably one of the worst chefs on the show

I saw the final table on netflix. For the 2nd challenge they have to cook a paella. I was shocked when i saw how Charles Michel disassembled a lobster. No anesthesia, no hot water, no knife stab before processing. He only torn the lobster just being alive. So i am sorry, but you are a really bad person with no respect for an animal, that gives his life for you. So many countries also have laws for animal welfare, where it is forbidden to process lobster, etc. alive. Unfortunately this chef isnt cooking in countries like switzerland, germany, etc. Here it would be animal cruelty. I wonder how you would feel if somebody tears off your limbs, not caring about your heart is still beating🤬😤
