Reducing Waste • Breakout Room Charles Michel UnConference #1 | Reducción de Residuos

Here's what was discussed on the "Reducing Waste" breakout room: Over a third of the food produced in the world never gets eaten and much of this is still perfectly good for human consumption. Bendiciones

I only have one negative thing to say but I feel it’s important: that red string bracelet dangling into and over all the ingredients raw& cooked. If I were a judge on the show I’d have said something immediately. That said, cool guy and great chef.

Every time I listen to this man, my own passion for food and the culinary artistry is validated. He puts into practice, what I feel in my own soul about plating delicious beautiful food. So grateful.

This programme lacked many things and hardly was balanced. It clearly cherry picked some western happy countries rather them ones which would represent internationally. Only one black and Indian chief. The rest were cacassion's who can apparently cook in different styles. Hardly diverse.

Tratemos de no desperdiciar la comida. We could try to eat everything that we buy. Con este solo comportamiento nuestro planeta podrá salvarse un poquito más. With this behavior our planet could be surviving to us. For example, Just if you buy an apple eat it and if you are not sure about it just don't buy that apple. It's simple and cheap Por ejemplo, si compras una manzana "cometela" y si no estás seguro de si la vas a comer, pues no la compres. Esto es sencillo y económico. I send you a hug from Colombia - Latinamerica. Yo envío un abrazo desde Colombia - Latinoamérica.

Charles I know I'm a few years late but I just adored your presence on this show. I was so upset when you & Rodrigo were eliminated. The way you spoke about your creations spoke to my heart, your intuition and innovative nature was captivating. I was hooked to the screen every time you spoke, I adore you! ❤

I was impressed by this pair from the get go. Their concepts, approaches, philosophies, creativity..I could go on and on... but they were the true risk takers throughout the competition, pushing boundaries and thinking outside the box. They cooked against the grain and I always end up being surprised at their final dish. Also allowed me to view food and cooking in a different perspective.

I saw the final table on netflix. For the 2nd challenge they have to cook a paella. I was shocked when i saw how Charles Michel disassembled a lobster. No anesthesia, no hot water, no knife stab before processing. He only torn the lobster just being alive. So i am sorry, but you are a really bad person with no respect for an animal, that gives his life for you. So many countries also have laws for animal welfare, where it is forbidden to process lobster, etc. alive. Unfortunately this chef isnt cooking in countries like switzerland, germany, etc. Here it would be animal cruelty. I wonder how you would feel if somebody tears off your limbs, not caring about your heart is still beating🤬😤
