  • We Bought our Coleman Lantern 17B in January of 2023 and after numerous camping trips and baseball tournaments all year with our family of 5 and 2 large dogs it was time to drop a review as we definitely got full use of our camper. This video will capture all the good and bad experiences with the travel trailer including dealing with Camping World to attempt to get some warranty repairs that were not honored as we were told they would be.

You don’t need to drop the tank.
You can buy a standard flange from Home Depot, Lowes, etc…glue the flange to a 3 inch PVC pipe that is then seeded into a rubber gasket that’s attached to the black tank.
You should be able to pull it right out, the flange that is that’s attached to the PVC pipe.
Or…it could be screen-threaded to the tank. If it has give, it’s threaded rubber gasket.

Nice work. This camper doesnt really need a full winterize. I just set my compressor to 30psi and blow out all the lines. I put a little bleach in the water tank. Add some antifreeze to the toilet. I dont add to sink and shower as I dont believe there are P or U traps.

What do the power inverter power while in 12V? I just bough one and if the awning and water pump are 110v, that's the only thing that works with the power inverter. The fridge is 12v so that works and lights. Other than that no microwave, a/c and no outlets. So fot what is the inverter for?

FYI, that CW 10,995 is you driving to Indiana to pick it up as-is with no safety walk through, no fixes. You just get what you get. Hopefully knowing that gives you a little less buyers remorse about paying more than that. Also, for reference, our local CW matched that 10,995 and it was STILL almost 16K OTD due to fees.
