Killer work! That should make for a killer blade!
Thank you. Im glad it came out nice.
very nicely done, jelly roll is my most hated pattern to make. just an idea for you. when its not fully welded, you could canister it and then tile it for a awesome pattern
Thats a plan. It was my test piece for a bigger billet i was planning thats why it was small. I plan on making a bigger billet in the future and trying again.
the fact that the last vertical stack didnt pop apart amazes me :)
Same here buddy
Wow. Fruit roll up demascus. Impressive! 🤯💪💪
You did a great job man. That one is a hard one to pull off!!
Thanks. Its been a headache
Great job. This is on my to do list. About how long did it take to do the initial role
Cant really tell time wise but it was at minimum an hour. It took a while to get that inital roll in but as it bulked up it got faster but its important to take your time forge welding it because if not you get giant gaps like i did.
I use muratic acid…yours Looks great! Can’t wait to see the knife 🔪❤️
Knife is ground to shape and heat treated. Coming soon.
That billet came out awesome!!! Great job my brother! 💯😎👍🏻🔨🔥🔪
Thank you 👍
I really enjoy jelly roll looks amazing. I seems like it is difficult to get to work out
I hear many people start with a round stock in the center and go from there but i wanted it all from the same steel. Kind of how Neil Kamimura did his.
Your skills improve with each video, keep up the great work!
Thank you. I appreciate you.
You did a great work 👏👏
Thank you
Really nice work and I love the pattern
Thank you

How long did thsi actually take to do?
This was late last year so i dont remember but it had to be at least a day or 2.
@@JPsBladeworks Excellent job the knife turned out great, thank you
That is badass!
Its pretty fun
만드신 칼을 사고싶네요
I havent made it into a knife yet
Great job sticking with it. I feel your pain. I just finished up my first feather billet that fought me the whole way.
Love how it came out.
Sweet. I havent had the opportunity to do feather but hopefully next year after i do some upgrades to my press ill give it a shot.
Ну а чё, узор красивый
Thank you
The end pattern came out great and seems to have no inclusions. Cant wait for the knife build!
I was happy with the result. Knife build comong soon!
That's now one of my favorite damascus patterns right there!
Glad you liked it
