Hello Jody, Looks really interesting and your sharing a lot of really nifty things. i prefer colored pencils to markers. I enjoy retro things too. love the box you have for the pencils. I think you have a stronger smell them most people. I can not smell at all. 💕NonnaGrace 🐓
OK, only 40 seconds in but have to make a place holder comment. You can get blank card stock book marks with a hole punched in them...they are fairly cheap and you get a bunch. I got tired of the scrap paper method I was using, especially on favored books. Nice thing about these (in addition to your own art, stickers themes etc) is they work great for making color palettes (started doing this yesterday for my next page) you just need to add a tassel (I am using bits of wool, dont know why). Something to consider.
That's a neat idea, I have heard people make some fabric bookmarks too. I have printed out some bookmarks that I made and some I grabbed from etsy to print on card stock, but they are all in my coloring books! Lol. I like picking some pages for each of my coloring books before I place them on the shelves. This helps me flip straight to it and consider to color it. It's a silly method I call "color at first sight", and it's crazy how even when I take those bookmarks out later, I have colored in those pages before the others in the book. Thanks for the tip.
Great video! I'm obsessed with coloured pencils, but i must tell you that I've heard nothing good about the Amazon Basics coloured pencils, so much so that i refuse to waste my money on them. I'd rather get a small set of Prismacolors, and those are at the bottom of my list of favourites. I would love to try some of those markers you got though! Lovely haul and thanks for the video!
Wow, you are the first person to tell me that. I don't feel alone about it anymore. :) Glad you liked the video. I think I'll get another one up after the holidays.
@@JodyMoments you're definitely not alone in that! I've seen several reviews of them and none of them were good. I think maybe as a colouring pencil for kids they may not be too bad, but still, with the breakage problems and sharpening issues, they may frustrate a kid who just wants to colour. I look forward to your next video ! Happy Christmas 🎄

Thank you Nona. Yes, I think I have a strong sense of smell now too. Hehe

You will love the Colleen pencils if you like soft pencils. It’s very popular in Asia. ❤❤
Yes I've heard so many lovely things by other colorists. I have already done some tests, and love some of the color combos for each pencil.
