A lot of homes in Ireland 🇮🇪 may look like they are not lived in but be careful as a lot of family live close by just to let you know when you’re looking
I absolutely love seeing Jess's confidence grow! You used to be more shy and reserved and hung back and let Sam take the lead. I just can't say how much I love watching your videos! Other explorers don't even compare. I hope you are able to do this for a long long time. Sending my love!❤
I have some newspapers from more than ten years ago, in reserve for when there is water leak or to catch paint drips when redecorating. I got rid of them all once & then regretted it when I opened the cupboard under the sink only to experience a sort of mini-tsunami across the kitchen floor. I had no choice but to soak it up using all my nice clean towels, because I had no newspapers. As if to make a point the same thing happened again a few weeks later. I still had to use some of my towels as I had not saved enough newspapers. So now I have a shopping bag packed with old newspapers!
That cheeping sound is the smoke alarm/s letting you know they need new batteries. If you do not have any smoke alarms it might be a good idea. Smoke can kill quickly. You might just not wake up.
I live in England and I have that chirping sound in my house when the batteries are running low in my smoke alarm they are supposed to last for 10 years
Just another amazing place!! I just cannot imagine the life stories that are attached to these places! Sorry I missed your premiere again! Thank you for the Fantastic video!!
You guys found another awesome 😎💕 place you were so overwhelmed with all the stuff you didn't take time to notice the beautiful furniture so are you going to answer the question I've been asking
Interesting old ICI flask. (Imperial Chemical Industries) My older sisters did her degree 1 year sandwich when BSc Hons were 4 years. One in Yorkshire was Research Laboratories and manufacturing 2 Square miles of buildings. ICI, jar tells me would be agricultural solution. Nice to see it not a vandalised up house
Just started to watch this and your opening, intro makes me want to live in Ireland. I have always wanted to go. I think I’m going to love this trip. ❤
Disgraceful. How dare you come into another country...break in to a private home ... snoop around someone's privacy and put it all up on camera. You should be tracked down and charged. There is unwritten moral law in Ireland that you DO NOT do this. Total invasion of privacy. Get out.
So sad. That house held together pretty well, it could be fixed up. You should've checked the food in the fridge for dates or the car's tax disc. The smoke alarm was beeping due to low battery, they do last ten years, sometimes longer.
There is probably money hid in that old farm house. Back years ago if they could not afford a safe, and they didn't trust a bank they hid there money an valuables in the home. Some even buried it in jars around on the property so only they knew where to go dig it up at
Ceilings definitely replastered. But clothes in wardrobe need a good dryclean. Retro vintage is a big thing. Subbed. Sorry for paragraphs when I remember I write it down. Never been into text codes. Lol full sentences.
Those are oil lanterns not gas. Just an fyi lol. That chirp is a smoke or carbon monoxide alarm. They chirp like that when the backup battery is failing and it will sound like it's moving around if the alarms are hardwired in. That means they will all chirp individually even one one backup battery is failing.
Sorry we missed ya Shelldust!!! Hope you enjoyed it anyway! Thank you so much, you guys make this all possible, we appreciate your support 🙏🏼 Hope to catch you on the next one ❤️
I feel that this was a very prosperous household at one time. Thanks for the explore, I enjoyed seeing the maple leaf, and the Niagara Falls memento. 🇨🇦
Hi SamandJess so good to see y'all and a great video once again love these explores with you keep up the good works thanks for taking me along with you.
This at one time has been a beautiful house. Sad to see it like this but if it wasn't I wouldn't get to explore it with you and see that little mouse family.
What a lovely home! If you look past the mold and the mess you can see what would have been a busy family home once. It’s a great time capsule and I’ve enjoyed looking around it! Ireland is so beautiful! Thank you Sam and Jess!! X
Loved the house! It's sad in a way to think that an elderly gentleman lived there on his own until he either passed away or went into a care home 😔 thank you Sam and Jess for another great explore 😊 take care you two lovely peeps. Xx
Sam, I’m surprised that you couldn’t fill in the blank of the scripture last word. “ The Lord is my??”Sheppard, The Lord is my Sheppard, I shall not want”. The speaker is God who is telling us that He will lead us like a flock of sheep to greener pastures, to protect us, to feed us. You can take the Shepard as synonymous for lProtector”.
Hello Jess and Sam. Nice find an the chirp you are hearing is the smoke detector. The house seems like it was full of family and love. So sad it is just left. It just feels so sad. Thank you for sharing.😊
Good to see you over here, the red car was last registered in 2012 and car tax was in 2013 as it ran out in 2014. Hope you visit many places of my island
OMG JESS ITS NOT A BIRD.......... ITS A SMOKE ALARM DETECTOR BLEEPING EVERY SO OFTEN, ITS EXACTLY THE SAME AS OURS THAT WE HAVE....... 🙄😂😂... LLF YA SILLY SAUSAGE HAHAH😂😂😂✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👌🏻😁😁😁
You still get a 100 yrs old birthday card and it will be from our king this year. Is the sound from a smoke detector as they beep when the battery gets low or has run out completely
Love seeing the house . It’s a very nice house but needs work done but I think it could be livable if someone bought it . I hate to good homes go to waste .
You are right, very friendly people, so easy to talk to and you be always welkom. We have been there for so long, holidays in autumn, perhaps some rain but Ireland is very green, and has a long history.
This is the first time i have watch your videos i love how you show use such detail you take your time when you walk round I am now one of your followers. And i love the way you go back to what we have seen and the music. Thanks for sharing that wonderful House 🏠
You are in southern Ireland unless you went back over the border without realising it, It is not part of the UK or commonwealth. No Queen's card. OHM is odd for southern Ireland. What part of ireland is it? I'm from donegal just curious. The photo in the calendar of erigal. Thats about ten minutes away from me. Yous should check out around gweedore. Hood few untouched abandoned houses. Love the videos
It’s the first time i have watched this. Do you get permission to enter abandoned properties. So interesting but also so so sad. Does the property belong to anyone now or are there no relatives still living. It could be a lovely home but it would cost an arm and a leg to get it habitable again.
@@elchapito4580 it’s the first time I’ve watched this so no idea they were trespassing. Surely the property belongs to someone. It wouldn’t sit right to me rooting among a dead persons possessions Maybe I’m old fashioned but I couldn’t do it.
Your drive around is beautiful, and such a lovely old farmhouse. Hate seeing it go to such waste. Kitchen was grand. Loved the ole magazine with recipes, need to try them Jess and let us know bout them😁😊😉

the bird sound, is a smoke alarm with a battery that needs changing, awesome place :)
I came here to say the exact same thing about the smoke detector. LOL I love the vibe in that house.
So invasive of somebody’s life.Who would think this is ok.?
I absolutely love seeing Jess's confidence grow! You used to be more shy and reserved and hung back and let Sam take the lead. I just can't say how much I love watching your videos! Other explorers don't even compare. I hope you are able to do this for a long long time. Sending my love!❤
What surprises me is that despite all the yrs yourselves and others have been doing this. There's STILL new abandoned houses to show 😮 xx
Love Ireland! Thank you Sam and Jess! The house was sad. Travel light in this world.
I loved this video, thanks for sharing! Great house and grounds.

That was really a time capsule. Thank you, Sam and Jess. The whole house told a story.
Lovely to see you on closer lands it as been nice to see past times in Ireland was i am shaw a lovely property in it hay day thank you sam and jess
There’s a man and woman spirit in that house.
That noise is a low battery in a smoke alarm.
No just whiskey.

I agree with you..lack of respect...
No need to kill the vibe this is actual intersting content that showcase the beauty of the past
how do you think museums get artifacts
they were in the UK not Ireland
That beep sounds like smoke detectors or Carbon dioxide alarms.
So sad.
That house held together pretty well, it could be fixed up.
You should've checked the food in the fridge for dates or the car's tax disc.
The smoke alarm was beeping due to low battery, they do last ten years, sometimes longer.

I think that cane can interchange to pool stick? My dad had one. 4:58 pm
That beep you kept hearing was the smoke alarm, the batteries need replacing!
Why does Jess do all the driving?
Top top top volim starine 👍👍👍
That house is cool think once it was a happy family home I think the kids have been there tried to clean it up and just gave up.
What it sounds like to me is a smoke alarm ⏰️ with a low battery 🪫.

The beeping is either the carbon monoxide detector or smoke alarm needing battery. My grans one beeped for days before we figured out what it was lol
Thats a very decent house ready for you to move into. Cos you woulsnt ruin it. Mind you all that alco might disappear have to ban parties
Now that’s a proper wood!
Great explore but the sound is a smoke alarm
Sounds like the carbon monoxide or smoke alarm sound aswell. I've heard that sound in a few places
That chirpping at 20:08 is a carbon dioxide or smoke alarm with a dying battery
You both don't need worry about enythink yes definitely right

Yes, smoke detectors beep to let the home owner know the battery needs to be replaced.
Lovely place that’s smoke alarm needs new battery
No family members!-the interior should’ve been cleaned up (including the gardening chemicals)
Wonderful house that still has all that was needed to live in the countryside. Thanks for the Irish visit. Take care! 💙

I'm guessing far south of NI right next to the border. The 1997 calendar was from a company in Monaghan and I'd guess that was local-ish to the house.
